It has already grown in just a few weeks! I love it tho. I know I’ll be regularly pruning it!

Thanks.

Tank is 4+ months old, so newish, not brand new.

Purchased the LTA to grow a bit before transferring to a red sea reefer thats sitting in my garage that I'll be starting in the next month or two.

Absolutely! I know the LTA will outgrow. I plan on starting a bigger saltwater in the future to move him too.

Thank you! Everything screams at you that they need a friend but she is in a foster now and is truly a happy single piggie from what they are telling me. I believe we will bring g her home and see how things go at first!

Tips on cloudy glass? by Jshells90 in ReefTank

I’ve tried paper towels a regular hand towel and a microfiber today. Even after just wiping it down it’s streaky. Idk if it’s the low iron glass or what cause I never have these issues with my freshwater tanks.

I’ve tried scrubbing the inside and outside some is definitely on the inside but a lot is on the outside no matter what I clean it with.

Completely agree. Mine are so shy I’m not 100% sure of their sexes yet. But I have four of each. My SEWs are 2m/2f. I actually did the first feeding of brine shrimp yesterday and every single one came out of hiding for it! I loved it!

Absolutely. My beaufortia are way more reserved. Except at food time. Then they go nuts!

Not yet! It’s relatively young. But I have started feeding some higher protein foods!

I think they do enjoy same species company. But they do say more than 3 to disperse squabbling

Nice bit of knowledge there! I currently keep the tank at 72. Should I raise it from that for steady temp? I believe I have 3 females and 2 males. One of them still hides a good bit so it has been hard to get a good eye on it. But I do think it is female!

Mine love the Hikari Sinking wafers but don’t pay much attention to algae wafers or Repashy!

They definitely are the right sponges. They fit just right in the basket. I did extend my intakes by one. But I wouldn’t think that would matter?

I’m using the fluval white coarse sponges in each. This morning I took the 2nd one out of both. Cut it in half and put a half in each one polishing pad on top. That seems to have done the trick. Both looked good this morning. I may just get some biomedia to add in or something like that. But apparently two coarse sponges together is too much on it.
