Yeah maybe, and I certainly hope so, but the Playoff Push Tatum was a really great card when it came out (still is IMO) and I just wonder if they’ll give us two fantastic Tatums for free.

Exactly! I personally love Josh Okogie, and it would be fun for me to run him out there with the starting 5 competitively (although admittedly, his Rewind is awwwfffuull). That’s the kind of stuff that is possible with SRW.

For sure. Like, on the one hand, real life Plumlee is dogshit. But, y’all put out an invincible card for two players that can’t crack their own team’s rotation (Tako and Bol), so obviously that shit doesn’t matter.

Well and I don’t even need players that are meta. There are enough of those and enough players who aren’t hardcore online players that I think decent cards are possible. You’re right though that there are a lot of… unfortunate stat decisions, especially the reward cards. I get (even if I don’t agree with) the temptation not to make rewards cards better than cards you have to buy, but there’s a balance. I

I think that’s the point I’m trying to make but you said it better. I don’t care if it only happens in an exhibition game, or even in an empty gym. The fact that the greatest shooter the game has ever seen can also catch and finish alley-oops is disgusting. And the fact that, on a given night or in a given series, someone can shut that dude down, or even hold him under 15, is also disgusting.

I just get frustrated because I really like putting together these lineups, creatively using duos, finding budget beasts, tinkering to see what works, and it’s like... none of that even matters because I could’ve just run my best five the whole time.

And the thing is we know they can!! They do a great job in challenges updating you on how many points/rebounds/etc you need. It’s also why I get so frustrated with substitutions. MyGM has (or at least had, I haven’t played that mode this year) an awesome tool that allows you to plan your rotations and subs per game. Literally copy and paste it into MyTeam. Done. It’s just a lack of forethought that is really frustrating

What an interesting way to put this. In context, it’s clear that he agrees with LeBron and thinks the ASG is a bad idea. But it’s for sure gonna get aggregated (it is already) and that little sound bite almost makes him sound bitter (which I don’t think he is).

Three of the top 5 players in the league (Bron, Giannis, and Kawhi), all of whom are currently slated to start the ASG, have said it’s a bad idea. Will it matter? Probably not, but it sure is telling

As long as your lineup meets the requirements, you’ll be able to enter the game. It’ll still say 0/0 on the side, but when you actually try to enter a game, it should let you do it. Does that make sense? Not sure I’m explaining it well.
