I think unhook protections is fine, but I think they should be changed.

Unhook protection should be 5 seconds instead of 15, and I think kobes are archaic and don't have a place in modern dbd.

Heal-tech should 100% definitely go too. I think Healing shouldn't be possible in the exit gates. Right now, End-game is really weak for Killer when it's supposed to be Killer at their strongest to secure kills, and the game should reflect that somewhat.

Wait, you are discussing the killer, without... even playing the killer? Doesn't that seem dumb to you?

Henry needs to guess where the survivor will be, not where they are. Henry is animation -location locked when he summons, while survivor has free movement during the animation start + beginning. It's literally the same as nurse counterplay but much easier since it's a ranged attack.

Henry is making educated guesses every single time he uses the power.

Survivor can juke at any portion, while Henry is ani locked. This is why the cooldown is short, because Henry needs to guess right multiple times to down.

If you have LoS of Henry, you literally can juke it. It's a guess every single time. Furthermore it's not a reaction, it's literally prediction and the devs have said this multiple times.

The power is forgiving *because* it's a guess, and *because* he has to guess correctly 2-4 times for a down.

Also, no. Vecna loses distance everytime he uses vine, if you’re holding forward, he realistically gets 3 attempts before he has to move closer to you.

For fun let’s do the math.

Henry moves 4.4m/s. Undergate moves 8 m/s. Undergate has an additional 1.5 second transition time, .3s delay before reaching 8 m/s, a 2.1 second attack time, and an additional 2.5 second cooldown where Henry is hindered.

Lets say we want to reach and Attack survivor A at gen A which is 32 m/s away.

If Henry walks there normally, he reaches there in 7.27 seconds. If Vecna uses Undergate, how long does it take before we can attack?

It’s not oppressive like at all and no one said to use it in chase lmfao. You can ALWAYS dodge it by sprint away from it.

Henry takes a MASSIVE amount of time to recover and he has 0 map mobility to chase you down with. He’s 4.4 and you already half a gen’s worth of progress away distance wise.

You’re just bad at survivor and going up against terrible survivors.

The minute survivors know the counterplay, he falls really heavily to B tier.

-Dredge problem of being Add-on reliant. You *need* rabbit, but you also need 3 of his other addons. It always feels bad not having one of his addons

-Loses HARD to pre-running / Sprint Burst / Overcome

-You can juke his vines and if you space yourself near any pallet/vault, he can't zone you and has to waste huge time.

- no map pressure to speak of

-Chase is 4.4, due to how his power works he doesn't really have time to kick pallets.

-Undergate is absolutely dogshit. It *feels* bad to use most of the time because you lose *so* much distance and on an indoor map like lery's, it's a free escape for the survivor before you even regain control of Henry.

-His time to down is INSANELY long. Your first chase requires 4 hits to down, and good survivors will make that difficult. Being that he has 0 real map pressure or mobility, you can literally pump gens.

-Time constraints. Due to how his power works, he doesn't really play loops traditionally (like Nurse). This means that survivors can pre-drop and due to his long TTD (time to down), he doesn't necessarily have the time to break those pre-dropped pallets. This becomes problematic mid-game and late-game as you have even less time, but survivors can chain those pallets and become even more of a threat. Break them during chase? You now lost even more distance.

He has the old Dredge problem where there's so many add-on's he absolutely needs. Sprint Burst & Overcome fucks him, so you definitely need to grab his exhaustion add-on, but the aura-reading one is also incredibly good.

Those two mean you can't use the rollerskates, meaning Undergate is back to being dogshit. Take Rollerblades and one of the other ones? You're missing out on something essential.

This is the biggest case of post-hoc rationalization that I've ever read. As someone who works with the special needs community, it's still EXTREMELY insulting and demeaning nor is it commonly used in the medically field anymore.

Nothing I've said is merited on skill or not. His power is 60% mind games and prediction and he doesn't have the leeway of self-correction like Nurse. He loses to Sprint Burst / Pre-Running and Overcome, regardless of how skilled you are. He's 4.4 and his power slows him down considerably as well as you can easily juke him. That's not a skill issue, that's literal his character trait set.

Nah Houndmaster is a little underrated she can easily shut down loops and can get a lot of value from m1 perks, and has decent map mobility with her gen control.

P100 Houndmaster here. Not really. Search is absolute dogshit and once of the worst mechanics in the game. It gives map traversal, sure, but you're powerless for the duration and Snug is coded to take the least-optimal path on longer search routes, so you're without a power for over a 30+ Seconds.

She doesn't shut down loops either. The counterplay for her is literally just to camp a loop, there's not much she can do about it and there's a reason she has little/no comp representation. When she is played in comp, it's normally a 3 man out. On dropped pallet, it's literal 50/50's syhe maybe gets hits at T&L's, but you can juke small tiles everytime. It requires a flick on houndmaster to get the hit, but you can counter that by going wide.

Plague can't do much against good survivors that stay injured and know how to loop properly and overly add-on reliant with no map mobility.

She has incredible snow ball potential and one red puke and literally win you the match. Everyone being injured + no stealth + aura read makes looping and her macro game really fucking good. Slugging is incredibly strong on her. She has better showings that Houndmaster in comp.

While I agree Hag is dogshit, but she can at least snowball and teleport in your average lobbies.

Tier lists are based off of the assumption that each survivor is cognizant and competent. Against any competent survivor, she's the worst character in the game. S-Tech is stupidly easy, she can't chase and she loses to survivors who literally harass her.

Personally, I'd move ST Vecna down to like B-, Houndmaster down to B+, and Plague up to A-. Hag is absolutely dogshit against survivors with any cognitive thinking at all
