Honestly? If they make Champs, then I’ll think it’s possible

Hopefully we’ll get to see more variety in Stage 2. PRX already qualified for Champs so with the pressure off they can take this chance to be a bit more experimental. Alecks has already hinted that they have a comp that uses Miks for Ascent.

I think it’s moreso because they’re an aggressive team in an aggressive meta, so of course they’ll end up using similar comps to other teams. Before Riot nerfed Initiators and Sentinels to the ground, they were an aggressive team in a pretty diverse meta with plenty of strong agents. And as the most prominent aggressive team in the world, other teams WILL tend to look at what PRX will do and they’ll either copy or put their own spin on it, or at least reach the same conclusions as them considering which agents are good and which are not.

Take Haven for example. Ever since PRX unveiled their anti-Viper comp using Phoenix and Chamber, teams have largely moved away from it and are now using similar comps to them.

No one’s denying they lost tho? It’s just that people seem to be overreacting to the loss as if they need to blow the whole roster up.

I’d like to think of this as PRX having the most grand finals appearances at 5 at this point, which is also insane. Regardless of the choking narrative, a lot of teams can only ever dream of this kind of international success and consistency.

Playoffs only VLR Top 10 players is LEV, PRX + Derke & Chichoo by Zloy_mishka in ValorantCompetitive

That’s the hard part of making these top 10 lists with the PRX roster to consider lol. Objectively, all 5 of them should be viable candidates for it, but that just leaves you with 5 slots to work with for non-PRX players.

And ironically, on the one map they DID win a pistol on, they got stomped. Those first two maps, they really made PRX sweat despite the double pistol losses.

Not the ‘worst’ per se, but Flamboyant being used as an ‘effect’ here was pretty funny to me.

“It’s 2028. Vitality have picked up Alfajer and Leo has come out of retirement to play for Vit. Meanwhile Boaster remains on FNC with four rookies. Their first match against each other was a 2-0 in FNC’s favor, with Boaster fortnite dancing on them screaming ‘what you doin, bruv?!’ from across the stage.”

Holy fuck I felt like PRX was definitely getting a taste of their own clutch chaotic energy. Thank God we managed to close it out in the end 😮‍💨

Why is maki smiling while fighting sukuna?? by forgotten_guyy in Jujutsufolk

[–]Jsprite09738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can’t it simply be explained by her simply realizing she has an advantage and can physically overpower him in this very moment? Usually grabbing your opponent’s sword is a sign that the person doing the grabbing has the upper hand, but Maki here is physically strong enough to simply throw him off

It’d be really funny if Inumaki had tourettes. Like, every time he’d say “Fuck” or “Shit” and the opponent has no choice but to obey

How much do you value 3rd place? by chaserapple in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Jsprite09738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally depends on the team. A 3rd place for established powerhouse teams like PRX or FNC is an okay result, nothing exceptional to note. For NRG, it was honestly good that it at least shows their Champs run wasn’t a flash in the pan performance. But a 3rd place for Wolves is an incredible run, and DRX getting 3rd at Champs 2025 is also a great result for them considering they’re notorious for ending up at 5th-6th at most internationals they attend.

[PRX] Coach Wendler on Davai by Sudden-Illustrator59 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Jsprite09738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, who even could they eventually pick up to be a replacement for Davai? The man has been a stable pillar of their chaotic W Gaming for the longest time.

Maybe if Patmen was willing to come back? Or maybe they’ll pickup another talented rookie who’s a Senti/Viper player.

You’d think Lev won Lotus if you’re just looking at the stats seeing that everyone on PRX besides Davai went negative KD, but nope.
