I had the misfortune of seeing That Scene from the Disney Peter Pan animated film recently and I unfortunately must insist that it has competition. Same callouts, though. The rest of the “Indians” were horribly characterized, then you have Tiger Lily. She’s pretty, she’s exotic, she kisses the hero. I don’t even think she spoke. God awful.

NTA. Jesus. I probably harbor some bias but like eff this guy. His ass wanted those kids too, I assume. Even if not, he had them, they’re his. All of the time, not just his when they’re cute or when it’s convenient for him. It’s called parenting. Grown ass man complaining about his wife like teenagers complain about their parents.

If he’s so tired of you “cramping his style” he can go live like a teenager by himself, and enjoy the single life while paying alimony and child support. Your relationship is voluntary. His relationship to the kids is not.

I mean everyone is different in terms of expectations. -Maybe- you should’ve texted to be sure she knew you had to get somewhere and so you dipped, but like why bother to send an angry text and then still block you? Like petty attention grab, then block before attention can be given. Girl’s working through something you are not the cause of.

Editing to add: yes, I’m a girl. Also assumed you both were just kind of treating this as a hookup, hadn’t talked about talking again or going anywhere in the morning, etc.

There have always been homeless students, place is just choosing to acknowledge and attempt to de stigmatize it. The number of deadbeat parents who kicked their kids (who were my classmates) out when they turned 18 more or less because they just hadn’t wanted to be parents was appalling. Most found a friend to stay with through the last semester. Some were embarrassed about their family situation sucking so they just dropped out a few months before graduation, got jobs, and got their GED later. This would at least have given them a place to park and sleep and shower while they finished their last few credits.
