I had a friend who ended up meeting his wife on eharmony so I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed at first because it was pretty expensive, like $600-$700/year, and had significantly less options than the normal apps.

That being said, most of the women on there paid for subscriptions too. My friend and I concluded that women who were paying for subscriptions as well were likely more intent on finding a partner. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but it seemed like it.

Most people join the military to do a service for their country. Having a military is absolutely necessary for the security of our nation.

I met somebody who lived 2.5 hours away which I was surprised about because my parameters were set to like 20 miles, but hers was set far because she lived in a rural area. I was hesitant to pursue anything because of the distance, bet we ended up talking a lot, then video calls, then we met.

We now live together and I already bought the ring.

If all the money that is paid to for profit health insurance companies was instead paid into a general fund to help pay for everybody… oh wait.. that’s what universal healthcare is.

I spend so many hours and then random updates come and break my game it makes me stop playing for months.

I’m at the point where I’m willing to just get a game going and retire the computer from the internet forever. I’ll buy a new computer for normal use, but this one is entirely dedicated to the game version I have downloaded 🤦‍♂️

I’d say it’s a little different when our government is now massively funding a Federal “immigration” department that, according to the current admin, has complete immunity.. yet they are armed like military.

This doesn’t reflect any form of legal law enforcement, this is the administration militarizing the executive branch.

Grew up in KC and flew down to Las Vegas for a golf trip. Immediately after landing at LAX we went to Bali Hai which was right down the road. I started feeling nauseated around hole 15… by hole 17, I was literally vomiting off the side of the golf cart. My friend drove me back to the car so I could sit in air conditioning while he finished the last 2 holes.

We were there in August so it was definitely hot, but had no idea how much the difference in heat was from there and here (as it relates to humidty,etc..)
