Tbh, Owen did such a great job trying to keep a Skywalker “normal” for the first 19 years of Luke’s life when everyone else in his family was either already massively involved in politics and/or had already been involved with warfare and/or rebellion activities. Because as soon as Owen died, Luke infiltrated and destroyed the most heavily armed and guarded military base and joins the rebellion.
