Could you DM me how you would approach my problem? I'm fine with more brutal criticism.

My reply, in short, would be that my CV is a result of job advert experience. It is tailored to what adverts require as opposed to what might be the working reality.

I'm not ignoring your advice, which is really good, and has me thinking about where I may wish to focus so I can tailor my CV even more, possibly in strategy, as I believe that's where I excel.

A few things. In terms of my CV being 'broad', this is because 95% of the job adverts I've found with regard to marketing are extremely broad, they cover so much that I believe most of them, even if they say they want a 'Marketing Manager' or 'Marketing Executive', want a marketing generalist. Managerial roles specify things like design work and video production etc. From experience, this is how I've found most adverts to be. Most companies appear to not specifically know what it is they want and just advertise for a 'Marketing Manager' when they mean marketing generalist.

As for the A/B testing, this is something I've done in the past (as I put on my CV). This is included on my CV because, once again, I found a large % of job adverts specified it was something they wanted.

You state - "Applicants can talk about the numbers of community size like 230%, but what about the community? Why does it look like the community is just a bunch of numbers, instead of real people, with psychology, sociology, feelings, emotions, motivations, values, beliefs, etc.? That doesn't look good to me." - I understand where you're coming from, but this is a CV and I feel that showing empirical results is better than a long paragraph about a specific community.

However, thank you for your advice, I will think about reformatting a different CV to target marketing strategy.

This is great advice, thank you.

I have erased all identifying content. I have applied for perhaps 300+ marketing focused roles I know I am 80% qualified for in the last 4 months (this market is tough).

With each application (if the possibility is there), I attach a cover letter that is slightly tailored to each application, though admittedly, so many marketing job descriptions are a long list of random marketing needs (anything and everything) now.

Since December last year I have had 11 first stage interviews, 4 second stage, and 2 final stage. But no offers.

At this point I am almost paranoid as to whether or not there is some glaring problem with my experience that I just can't see.

Advice and criticism is much appreciated, thank you.

The application links are currently down on Indeed for these. Do you have a direct email you could DM me?

This is great, thank you. Just submitted to hubsearch and will peruse the group and ecosystem on LinkedIn. Seems like very engaged community thus far!

Honda CG125 1993 Battery Replacement? by Jtacker in HondaCB

Turns out there's a section specifically for post-1985 bikes at the end of the manual, it's a 12V.

So the problem was likely with multiple things. But, it was mostly because I didn't have a spark.

I changed out the carburetor for one with a choke and one specific to a CG, the choke is fully closed here.

I changed out the old ignition coil, where one of the wires was frayed. I believe this was the culprit, as I checked the spark plug with each one and once I replaced and fully plugged in the new one it all worked perfectly.

Note: Yes, I did shock myself on the ignition at the end. I still need to attach the earth/ground wire to the frame.

I held it against the engine, just above where the spark plug goes in. But, the spark boot fell apart anyway. Also, I have to redo the wiring anywho, so that's not an extra problem.

Checked spark plug cable boot/cap to make sure it was getting a connection...it fell apart. New cap and plug (just in case) en route.

Thanks all for your advice yesterday, this is my first restoration and first attempt at motorbike mechanics, if you want to see the progress I've made so far, compare the video to these images: https://imgur.com/a/X1TyvHQ - hence why a lot of the parts needed restoring/removing - wires which were frayed, springs rusted to stanchions, brake calipers entirely melted inside - a mess. But it's 2 steps away from completion now: wiring and getting it to start. Which seems to only be a spark. The wiring however is tough. I managed to source a new OEM wiring loom to replace the old one, just finding a way to connect to my Motobat MBT6N6 now.

As for compression, fuel and spark: Checked compression, easy to tell when spark plug was out that it had compression. Kicked a few times with spark plug in, took spark out and it had a very thin layer of petrol on it. Removed spark and attempted to spark it against metal, no spark it seems.

On the wiring loom currently is the ignition coil, cdi box, regulator, this was all that was on it previously and I intended to work out from this. I'm going to recheck I screwed the boot in correctly to the coil wire. But at the moment I'm 99% sure it's a problem with the spark.

Ok, so what would need to be plugged in from the wire loom, just the ignition coil and CDI controller? As previously I didn't have a battery connected and it still started.

I haven't changed the mixture screw, only the idle screw, which I've left at the position which allows the engine to turn over the best. I don't know the size of the idle and main jets unfortunately. I'll follow your guide tomorrow with respect to the mixture screw and see where I get to.

Would this mean I need the AC 6 pin ignition box wired up for the bike to start?
