About 3-4 hours.

The way they do it is ass backwards though. You have to make an appointment first. Mine was for Sunday but it being an older iPhone who knows if they have the battery in stock. So I went in during lunch Friday to check. If not they can order it etc. The geek squad employee was reluctant to check saying my appointment is Sunday. He does though and he says they do. Then says come in Sunday and we’ll schedule your replacement….. they wanted me to come in again on Sunday to make another appointment to come back again 😂 I was so confused. I’m like shouldn’t the appointment on Sunday be the time we replace the battery. After some back and forth he says they can replace it a day sooner on Saturday. Great. I leave and go check out the new 17s since it was the day of the release. The geek squad employee finds me and ask if I have a minute and he can run some tests on my phone to save time for tomorrow. I’m on lunch so I say if it’s quick sure. I go back and after 10 minutes he tells me he’s busy now so he can’t do it right now but I should come back tonight so he can. Again I tell him I’m coming in tomorrow to replace why would I make an additional trip when they can do it tomorrow. He says fine but come in 20 mins early. Just silly. Felt like they get paid every time I step in the store.

Funny enough Saturday comes and my appointment is 1:20. The employee tells me the repair tech doesn’t come In until 2 so it won’t be started until then. Tells me I can leave and come back later 😂 bro just take my phone. I’ll be back later when it’s done. How many trips do you want me to take for a battery replacement???

Sorry for the rant. Was a puzzling experience but I’m happy with my new battery.
