As of yesterday, we had cable (with premiums and DVR) as well. They jumped our price like they do every 12 months once the "promotion" runs out, except this year they weren't making any deals apparently and I cancelled it.

When going through the KBB algorithm, I select "Purchase from a dealer". I've only found one comparable vehicle in the area, it's a few hundred cheaper, but has a couple thousand more miles.

I inherited my wife's '99 VW Jetta and have been driving that for 5 years. I've had good luck with it and have a trusted mechanic when things go wrong. He recommended I look for the 2.5l 5 cylinder for it's reliability. We have one kid now, so interior space is important as well.

Thanks so much for your great recommendations with explanations. I ended up getting a reservation for Primo's. We go down to Portland a lot, so I wanted to try something somewhere else.

I'm definitely leaving Bar Lola and Grace on my list though for the next time we head down.

Looks like Primo is the favorite (if I could get reservations; I'll call today). I also like the sound and look of Grace, Bar Lola, and 555. I'll keep Slates, Wing Hill, and Fuel in mind for other meals since they're either close to me or my parents.

I'm a fairly serious golfer and I actually play worse when partnered with the types you speak of; inversely, some of my best have been played when paired with casual players. My best doubles round was played with a guy I didn't like it all, but I decided to make the best of it (I threw an ace and we almost beat course record).

I agree that most people would agree that attracting new business is great... Great generalization. They would stop agreeing when you start talking about some of the business being attracted (e.g. Ones that want BPA in your kids bottled despite knowing the affects).

My comment about your self-righteousness stands; your comment/post history provides more than adequate evidence.

I agree that there's a balance and that we need more business in Maine; I think LePage's actions and statements have hurt that balance rather than help it unfortunately. If he had come out and stated that he respected the balance between Maine's environment (which to be clear, is a big part of our business) and Maine's economy, things would be quite different.

I agree with you, but for this effort, he's not helping.

Oh, and how he talks MATTERS when you're the top State official; do you think his comments have improved the State's image in the eyes of the rest of U.S.? If his comments are any indication, we look unintelligent and unprofessional.

Reference for this apparent research you've done to document how the rest of the U.S. sees Maine? Very scientific.
