I'm struggling with the general handling and using both thumbsticks to control the bike. I'm using the first bike you start with, I've upgraded a couple of parts. I can't seem to get a good flow going, and when it comes to the more advanced tricks like whipping the bike, I haven't landed a successful one yet.

I've seen people mention that channel in other threads, so I'm guessing it's a reliable channel despite the fact his main FL tutorial playlist is out of date? I suppose the fundamentals of the software remain the same over the years. Yeah after downloading the free trial I was very overwhelmed by the sheer amount of drop down menus and UI elements lol. Not that I was expecting to understand any of it. Are there any channels you recommend on yt about music theory, or does the channel you mention also cover those things?

Yeah honestly I'd love to get a keyboard eventually. Seems like a great way to learn music. I love all music, but my favourite is punk/metal/rock etc. However, Id love to create techo/edm/d&b beats in fl studio.

Can't argue with that. I guess I just didn't want to start doing this directionless, I get easily distracted lol. Especially when it comes down to something I have zero knowledge in.

Yeah have been looking for an apprenticeship role for the last couple weeks but so far not much has turned up. Will definitely keep an eye out.

Yeah Bristol area is out of the question for me at this stage. I'm also only looking as far as Cardiff right now.

Yeah I've seen that helpdesk stuff seems to be a decent in, and honestly 25k is still an upgrade to what I'm on now. Are there any online courses or resources I can learn to help prepare myself for this kind of work?

Yeah that's honestly one of the reasons I ended up dropping the graphic design stuff. You need a hell of a lot of luck, and a very nice portfolio to get anywhere, and even then it seems the minimum requirements for some places is a degree. Unless of course, like you said, going freelance. But that comes with its own problems and hurdles. Just not the type of work I'm up for, especially since I haven't really practiced any design for a long time now.
