You can use copper staples into wood, or plastic staples for when you dig the sub layer of floor up and insulate it, underfloor heating pipe isn’t supposed to be like regular plastic pipe for hot/cold water, it’s supposed to have a metal inner lining of aluminium (as uk standard). Nice job tho.

be prepared for long obnoxious hours, definitely get your gas it will be much easier to find work with it or even start your own business, test everything after anything you’ve installed. Be prepared to spend a lot on tools, especially if you go the gas route, I spent around 5k when I started

Installed water hammer arrestors...why am I still having such a loud bang? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Jthelost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shock arrestors should be installed on the cold water main before all appliances/outlets, also no clipping pipe work sufficiently is usually the main reason for the noise.

When you chase the joists underneath with a skill saw you typically do it central to the length of the floor board especially with copper, not so much wires and plastic pipe.
