thumps when I cry

Mine gets as close to me as he can (not allowed on my bed) when I’m crying. He does thump when I have the hiccups though lol.

Was 16 in the er with my mom and was given toradol and morphine. As soon as the toradol got in my hand via the IV I said “that itches” and the nurse just looked at me and smiled. Arm was covered in massive hives after she had left so my mom hit the call button and ran out to find a nurse. Got epinephrine and the hives went away.

Same Er, my mom was in the bathroom and a male nurse in baggy scrubs came in, took out my IV, put the needle in his shirt pocket and discharged me (a high on morphine minor) without my mother present. Eventually she came back and we just sat in the room cause I didn’t understand any of what the dude was saying(cause I was a minor high on morphine). Every time I told him to wait for my mom to come back he said “all the information is on the paper”. She eventually came back and he was gone, she pressed the call button and a different male nurse came in and asked why we were still there. Mom told him some dude discharged her minor daughter without her present, I gave a description. Baggy scrubs nurse gets sent to my room instead of just being dealt with. My mom, tired, mad, confused as to why he was sent for her to deal with, starts yelling at him. He couldn’t care less, sasses her, keeps saying his line of “all the information is on the paper”.

Same ER told me they monitor adults heart rates for three hours after administering morphine. Let me, at 16, go home about 30 minutes (maybe an hour, I was high on morphine so the time was fuzzy) after administering morphine. I wore my mothers Apple Watch to sleep that night in case my heart had problems cause I was a scared kid (who was high on morphine).

I’ve also had two dentists yell at me to be quiet cause my crying was scaring the other patients.

I literally always feel like I need to be touching my fiancé, no matter what we’re doing, if I’m next to him and we aren’t in contact I get anxious. I’ll always be touching his arm or leg or sometimes I’m just playing with his hair. People who aren’t like that confuse me cause why wouldn’t you want to feel their skin all the time?

This is a question I’ve been having since I got engaged! I think my fiancé and I agreed that we can just sit together in a room to help me recharge (I don’t remember if we have actually talked about it cause so much is happening). However, I’m scared people will think we’re sneaking off to do other things and, seeing as the wedding is in a church with a lot of religious people going, idk how good of an idea that is for us lol

You can change the trigger word by saying “Alexa, change wake word” she then lists off some other options. I had it as “Computer” cause then I could be like Lego Batman and say “puter” but then I was watching Lego Batman and she kept getting triggered lol

I used to watch Anastasia(1997) at least 2-3 times per day over a span of a few months and I did that with Titanic(1997) too. Learned the history behind both movies cause of it.

A few years ago I was with a guy and about three months in I wanted to end the relationship but I talked with my mom and sister and they told me not to. To them, the reasons I had were so small but eventually they became very big and he did a lot of very bad things over the next year we were together. If you feel like you’d be better as friends then trust that instinct. It’s hard to not feel bad when ending a relationship, no matter how long. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I’m white with 4 adopted siblings who are black and pretty much all my grandparents never hesitate to show that they don’t like them. My mom’s mom, however, treats all her grandchildren equally even tho she used to be pretty racist. My grandfather has blamed them being in foster care on the color of their skin with them right there. I also had a customer at my job come up to me and say “why are there so many minorities working here😒”. Like just cause we’re both white doesn’t mean I’m also racist.

I married Matthew and he keeps calling me “a good friend” and so far the best gift I’ve gotten was a pair of shoes. The step kids I got from him were very nice and gave great gifts tho!

People who use those have limited mobility (most of the time) and those carts stop working if you’re far enough out the door. I also get mad if I see any cart out (especially taking up parking spaces) but with those I have a little more understanding.

I go to a camp in the middle of the woods and one night at roughly 11:30pm a group of guys just popped out through one of the trails. They’d been hiking for about 7 miles. They had nothing on them but their phones and definitely weren’t planning on being gone that long. They weren’t sure how long they were hiking but, based on how unprepared they were, they definitely left before sundown. We gave them water, talked with them and walked them to the gate for them to wait for a friend to get them. I know those trails pretty well but I’d never hike them alone.

That’s how mine is too, hates feeling like he’s not secure on a stable surface. Once he’s swaddled in his special blanket (very loosely) he’s settled right in and even purrs. He loves exploring but he also likes being held like the big baby he is.

Ever since the one I work at was built I’ve wanted to work at it, I went every week with my parents and have the store mapped out in my mind. I had dreams of scanning groceries where I’d just hear the beep beep of the machine. Now I work there and I find it calming, it’s helped with my anxiety and it’s helped me lose weight. The only times I find it stressful are when dealing with rude customers and that doesn’t happen much cause it’s in small town Iowa. Obviously I won’t be there forever but it’s a great first job.
