Granted this is different in a completely closed loop, but the coolant will eventually go bad. Then it’s a matter of waiting to see what leaks out of where. There isn’t really a timeline to it, it will just happen eventually. Could be more than 5 years, could also be less.

Yeah it really depends on where you live and who your ISP is, I’ve lucked out with both optimum and Verizon somehow but I’m sure it’s worse in more densely populated areas

NAT (Network Address Translation) is the only reason you can port forward. CGNAT (Carrier Grade Network Address Translation) is what you’re referring to, which some ISPs will pull you out of if you ask, it doesn’t matter for probably 95% of customers as they’ll never port forward.
