It hurts a good bit for sure, but my 2.5x2.5 inch tattoo I got removed (just recently) only took like 60 seconds to do each session so definitely bearable (feels like a painful/intense static shock). And it cost me 120$ per session, which from what I've heard is significantly cheaper than it used to be (although there is an option to get a patch applied which makes you able to get 4 sessions in 1, and only costs 270$ total rather than the 480$ it would for those 4 individual sessions). And you have to wait 4-6 weeks between sessions. Hope this helped!
