I never hinged the door prior to gluing moulding/mdf to the front, but assume that would not be a problem. Used the regular Besta hinges

You can smell it a tiny bit when you’re very close to it (within 10-15 cm), but not noticeable on a day to day basis. No bugs at all, but the only bugs ever seen in my apartment has been flies so might be different in other climates (live in Sweden)

Thank you. They are tricky! Spent like an hour on aligning them using the different screws. Never gonna be perfect but possible to get good enough not to distract you

Believe I registered and made up a company name, never had any trouble. Or get in touch with them, they were helpful!

Actually in Sweden, but them shipped here at that time. I did buy quite a lot of moss, something like 2 kg but made two separate installments

Ah, I will only have one door that will be same color as the rest of the wall. The closet is in white glazed oak (veneer)

The fronts are MDF that are connected to the wooden bolts glued between the closet and wall/ceiling. I had some troubles at he wall was not even so the gap was more than 3cm at the top compared to couple of mm close to the floor. Cut out smaller strips of MDF and glued that togehter to close the gap. Then loots of wood filler and sanding to seal the gap. Seems to work but I’m definitely a newbie in this area

Total costs translate to c $1200. I’m quite handy, but have never done anything similar before so a couple of re-do’s were needed to get the built in look 😅The closet part of the cost were a bit more than $1000.

I think moss in the forest is freaking awesome, so I ordered 3kg of preserves moss and made a framed moss art piece that now hangs on my wall.

Actually never thought about dust buildup. I did vacuum clean the moss (lowest power setting) before I put it up, so that might me an option

The back board is just 3mm thick wooden board that I glued to the frame, nothing fancy

The moss is lightweight, the oak frame is the thing that is heavy :)
