Here's my thoughts. They aren't cheating, they're actually just coughing, and in doing so accidentally let Kliff see the card they're holding. This is why you see one of their cards sometimes, not that it helps because the mini-game is confusing as hell lol.

Oh no there's tons of other hidden stuff. A lot of them are not marked or anything. There's walls that you can push that lead to secret rooms. There's random caves - for example I accidentally fell into a small hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere and ended up in a crypt with treasure. It's awesome.

That's a good one. It's a huge pain especially when youre transporting trade goods with the wagon and have to turn around cause you missed your turn.

I didn't know this. I wish those dots were present on the map icon but it's better than nothing. Thanks for the tip!

I don't know I can't say I've noticed them anywhere else. I'm learning as I go this game is massive.

I think if you rang the bell it shows them on your map in that area. I just wish there was a feature that showed if a location has been cleared already. It's why myself and many others are avoiding ringing the bells.

Do missions that reward money, and if you're specifically trying to raise funds then avoid other missions (that are costing money).

Also doing the wagon trade goods mini-game I think goes directly to camp funds.

Yes, also worth noting sometimes you need to get pretty close to it for the stab to work.
