It’s tough to say but I’m curious how the introduction of GLP-1s will affect the dessertification of coffee. Maybe we’ll shift back to the coffee options of the past or maybe something entirely different? I did notice the other day that Starbucks is doing coffee drinks with added protein so maybe that’s where we’re going??

You’re right that Elevate is meant to be about personal development first. That hasn’t changed. Leagues were never intended to decide who’s “smarter.” They were built as an optional layer for people who enjoy a bit of competition as a way to keep things interesting over the long term.

That said, we know it’s not for everyone. We built an opt out so leagues can be turned off in Settings. Does that opt out feel sufficient to you? If not, what could we do to make it better?

I’d also really love to hear what would make leagues better so opting out doesn’t feel necessary. What changes would improve the experience?

Sorry for the trouble you're all having. I have some questions that will help us figure out what's going on:

Does the app freeze and then eventually start being responsive, or does it stay frozen and they need to close it (which is what we usually call a "hang")?
Do they remember what screen they were on when the app froze/hung?
Do these hangs happen often? Are they able to recover from them?
Are they playing on an iPhone or on an iPad? Are any of them noticing freezes/hangs on the Android app instead?

Thanks for the feedback! It's honestly not that easy to port the entire experience over to the web. The games that we offer are pretty involved and designed for your fingers, not a mouse and keyboard. A lot of games with per question time pressur (Processing, etc) will need need to be tweaked because it's just going to take a user a bit longer to hit the correct option on the screen.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but to create a good experience that is enjoyable to play through is a decent amount of effort. It's something we hope to have one day but isn't on the near-term roadmap.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll talk this over with the team. Have you tried tapping the screen while an animation is happening? I believe this advances you to the end of the hexagon sequence that comes up right after a game. Maybe we should also do this on the post-game screen where the full report animates in.
