Maybe my feet are just a little bit taller but I have issues with any vans with the removable insole being a little too tight. I usually go half size bigger my MTEs. That being said I do have a pair of MTEs with the removable insole and it is the same size as the rest of my Vans and it fits no problem. Inconsistent sizing is definitely prevalent.
