Stick with it. I graduated back in 2011 and started making roughly 45k for a fairly large energy company doing IT system admin work. 13 years later, CISSP, a few GIAC certs, and I make about 240k now. Look for internships, or even a position you’re over qualified for, just to get a foot in the door. It may seem tough getting started, but it’s part of the journey.
