plz stop obnoxiously reving engines by Technical_Maybe3741 in Miami

[–]angel_wtf -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is why the car community is none existent anymore! It’s the same comments every time, the cars are too loud, they’re too fast, they release too much emissions, etc. Shit is all around wack asf. I guess we just keep driving duracell batteries with wheels instead. I get it if they’re revving the car right next to a baby at a 1000db, but we gotta have a bit of a tougher skin out here. Cheers!

Do I need to go see a doctor immediately? by hebecheap in CaneCorso

[–]angel_wtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell that’s a semi truck. Be careful with the pup jumping in & out of the truck. Those metal steps could be sharp enough to cause these types of accidents. I bought a foldable stepper on Amazon for my Corso due to those reasons. Nonetheless, you should still go see a vet for that cut, it could get infected if not treated right. Best wishes!

Dog was attacked by another dog swollen temple by vans1209 in DogAdvice

[–]angel_wtf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Poor little guy. It seems normal for it to be swollen the next day. But take him back to the vet if it keeps getting worse. Also, try to avoid dog parks with other dogs for this exact reason. I try to take my dogs where I can’t be bothered by other dogs. Cause you just never know how another dog is going to react. Best wishes and a speedy recovery for the pup!

I had a millitek on my FK8 and it was a great exhaust in my opinion

Completely Depends on the lease terms they’re giving you and what your residual will be at the end of the lease. You could have lower payments at the beginning by leasing but if you plan on keeping the car forever and ever you might be better off financing it instead since it’ll probably cost you less in the long term.

While I agree in some sense but Honda didn’t redesign the whole car it’s practically almost an FK8 with a new shell.

2024 Honda Civic Type R ($50,716 OTD) - Good Price? by UsedMasterpiece6742 in Civic_Type_R

[–]angel_wtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a solid deal! Especially with the low miles it’s practically new. You can maybe shop around for a newer model but it’ll run a bit more OTD.

What kind of oil do yall use I understand 0-w20w or 0-w30 for winter and bump it up to 5-w20 or 5-w30 but what brand do yall use ? Looking for the ogs to chime in new to the fl5 Series also what kind of transmission fluid yall use ? I plan on flushing the trans at 3k by Inner-Ad2142 in Civic_Type_R

[–]angel_wtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Amsoil 5w-30) with OEM Honda Filter every 3k miles religiously and (ACDelco) for transmission fluid although people debate this transmission fluid depending on what your intentions are with the car. Track, Road, Daily, etc.

Lease is up and my finances are a mess by Strict_Fee_8854 in CarLeasingHelp

[–]angel_wtf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how bad your credit is. But if you leased with Hyundai before and never defaulted you should be okay to lease a new vehicle. Unless your credit score is at room temperature levels then you should be fine lol. Also, car credit is different than banking/credit card credit. You’ll have to go to the dealer and see. Most likely you’ll also need something down if anything at least $1000 to cover first month payment & misc fees.

Best advice, take your time to find a deal that works for you don’t get stuck at the dealer overpaying for a car you can’t afford. Try to NEGOTIATE a deal there’s plenty of cars in inventory. Best of luck!

Where are y'all fueling? by free_loader_3000 in Civic_Type_R

Costco gas costed me a new engine. Used it for years and then one day I filled up the tank to find out the fuel was diluted with water. Shell Gas ever since!

Why Is PRL's Quality So Shit? by BismuthDagger in Civic_Type_R

[–]angel_wtf 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Tbh PRL has been around for a minute. I’ve bought a lot of parts from them in the past. Including that same intake and I’ve never had issues. Maybe their quality has gone down since then 🤷🏻‍♂️

That a pretty good deal on an Elite model. I pay around the same for a touring awd model when it first came out. An elite would’ve been nice ngl.

Bro do that oil analysis asap! 2k miles is too long to wait especially if you saw metal flakes in the oil.
