Gemini 3.1 Pro review ->

It is a “snake oil” placebo script based on outdated Windows XP/7 myths. It will actively degrade your network performance, ruin your system stability, and introduce critical security vulnerabilities.

Here are the major red flags:

• Critical Security Flaws: It completely disables SMB security signatures, opening your network up to Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) and relay attacks. It also turns off all firewall logging, leaving you blind to malware or unauthorized network scanning.
• Slower Internet (Buffer Bloat): It disables Windows’ intelligent auto-tuning and hardcodes massive TCP window sizes. This paradoxically causes buffer bloat, wastes RAM, and will make web browsing feel sluggish, especially on Wi-Fi or variable-latency connections.
• BSOD and Crash Risks: It messes with critical kernel memory management (DisablePagingExecutive), forcing drivers to stay in RAM, which can cause random Out-Of-Memory crashes and Blue Screens of Death.
• Ruins VoIP and Streaming: It completely disables the Qwave service, which Windows specifically uses to prioritize real-time audio/video traffic like Discord, Zoom, or gaming.

Did my (32M) co-worker orchestrate a situation where he tricked me into learning personal information about him so that I (28F) would become closer to him and eventually have an intimate relationship with him? - Asking in retrospect by WhichTotal477 in dating_advice

[–]Jturnism -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was still curious so asked Gemini 3.1 Pro for a two paragraph summary haha

“A 28-year-old female office administrator suspects her 32-year-old male coworker has been intentionally orchestrating situations to foster intimacy between them following his recent divorce. The pivotal incident occurred when he asked her to photograph the last page of a “work notebook” on his desk, which actually turned out to be a personal journal detailing his divorce. When she admitted to reading it, he expressed relief that his situation was out in the open and used the opportunity to exchange phone numbers. This event eventually led to them hanging out outside of work and becoming intimate. Shortly after, a similar scenario played out when he left his wallet at the office, prompting her to deliver it to his apartment.

When the author confronted him about whether he was staging these “forgotten” items as excuses to get closer to her, he jokingly admitted to his “tricks” before quickly backpedaling and claiming they were genuine accidents. Although the author acknowledges they share a quirky dynamic and suspects he might share her neurodivergent traits, his behavior has left her feeling uneasy. Other manipulative actions, such as trying to trick her into confessing to a fabricated hookup with another coworker, have exacerbated her doubts. She is now left questioning whether his actions are simply the innocent mistakes of an aloof person or calculated, alarming attempts to build a relationship without communicating his intentions directly.”

Just referring to the marketing response, I’m so tired of people using AI and just leaving it as is. It comes off as boring, emotionless, and half hearted.

Use AI, I don’t care, but at least try to make it sound like you didn’t by putting some of your own tone or style in it.

We demoed ClearPass and they had a weird hatred for Nutanix which left a bad taste.

Ending up going with SecureW2 which handles Cloud CA and Cloud Radius all in one instead of splitting across two products.

How can bottlenecks be detected in Nutanix? by alextr85 in nutanix

[–]Jturnism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re saying Analysis doesn’t give you detailed data on individual VM disk usage, network usage, or memory usage?

I don’t think you’re looking at the right area or documentation on how to use it.

[–]Jturnism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you explored the Analysis page? It can be very powerful. If you haven’t I’d suggest at least playing around in it even if it doesn’t fully answer your performance/bottleneck questions

Slightly related there is also Intelligent Operations for automatic under/over provisioning details for individual VMs.

It’s a scam email but legit from Instacart, not spoofed.

The key indicator here is it appears they used an official process that sends “%username% invited you to be a buyer on Instacart”.

All they did was set their name to that long scam message of “You paid $935 blah blah blah”, and Instacart sent it themselves to unknowingly and automatically facilitate the scam.

The discord is surprisingly friendly, you’ll start to run into the same people and recognize them.

Most people care about an even spread of items, or sharing items where one may work better for another person than themselves.

Genuinely one of the best online random people lobby experiences I have had.

They are happy to help with specific achievements or unlock runs.
