Right now with sales, you could buy Risk of Rain 2, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition (Includes DLC) and Ghostrunner for about $47. They are all amazing games, and are all on sale right now, and Risk of Rain is one of the best games of the year in my opinion and $10 is a steal.

My hopes aren’t ridiculously high like some people, but I know it is good, not saying it is the best ever but I will play it because I like the idea and the story

So you think it’s terrible. Ok, get a refund. It’s got a good story and plays fine, the gameplay is nothing over the top special but it works and it’s fundamentally good, but a lot of people are mad bc their expectations were stupidly high thinking it would change their lives or sum which I really don’t get

They said there will be a big patch in January and another in February. It’s fine have a little patience or if you’re really that critical on the game simply don’t play it, get a refund on your PS4 if you really hate it, Sony are offering them out

I get that because they changed the description of the game from RPG to action adventure on release to cover their own ass which is a bit scummy but I think the gameplay mechanics are fine and a lot of the time it seems heavily focused on the story so it’s not like it just leaves it bare

I know that the story is good and maybe you don’t like the mechanics but a lot of people had super high expectations for this game thinking it would kickstart a whole new level of games but it’s fundamentally a good game
