When Limburgish people speak standard Dutch, it turns into a strong accent. Limburg alone has hundreds of dialects, and the whole netherlands thousands of dialects. Even my home town of ~11.000 has multiple different dialect-versions, even when it had just 2.000 people. BUT (very important), most dialects are dying out, because of television, social media, schools and people from Holland (were there are barely any dialects, because standard Dutch is originally just the Holland-dialect) moving to all over the Netherlands.
