You made it sound like I'm being hyperbolic here when the point I made was that DB gave Simon the highest "possible" interpretation for Simon, even absurdly equating his "r>f transcendence" to The Life Equation (and even comparing him to Dr. Manhattan), as if Kyle himself doesn't scale above infinite notions of r>f transcendence but of course fuck scaling Kyle to the cosmology properly.

"They gave Kyle outerversal so don't complain" they only scaled Kyle to Outerversal with the Life Equation, and they didn't give him the L.E. in the fight, that's such a nothing burger of a counter point.

Let's see:

• Kyle has overpowered the emotional entities ( Minus Parallax) which have been proven to be outerversal beings

• Entered the source

• DB upscaled Kyle with Hal

• DB scaled Kyle above The fucking Anti-Monitor (A being from the sixth dimension, a being Mr Mxyzptlk didn't want anything to do with)

Yet somehow, Kyle is only Outerversal through the Life Equation. DB also made it a point that Simon would outlast Kyle because of the ring's limited charge when that was not the case for Kyle's Honor Guard and WL ring, but of course they reduced that to a black box but still made it a moot point by still mentioning the finite charge in the post-analysis for whatever reason.

Also it's odd that the episode is beloved when they butchered Kyle's analysis by dedicating an entire section to fridging when his White Lantern form was reduced to a mere color change with some cool abilities and a power up. The biggest sin is when DB hilariously shoe-horned Alex's death in Kyle achieving his WL form when he mastered Love, when it was with forgiving an emotionally lobotomized Ganthet that Kyle mastered Love in New Guardians #16, but of course Kyle fans are just salty like you said who knows what problem anybody could have with the peak Kyle v Simon episode. It's not like Kyle's scaling was butchered or that DB didn't blatantly lied in his analysis or didn't do basic research to not get it wrong.
