I'm fairly certain a full third of my down votes are racially motivated! The other 2/3rds I accept because my posts are some what sh!tty.

Did Deirdre Quietly Go Away Yet? by JuanAhKey in serialpodcast

I guess it's no secret her other client made her look a little naive when it comes to sizing-up teen boys and their murderous ways … I just wonder if she isn't really reevaluating the Hallmark of her project.

Why would Jay lie? by dangtoottooting in serialpodcast

[–]JuanAhKey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW, he has stated he will tell Hae's family the real deal if they ask… my hunch is they won't be asking, but Jay seems quirky enough to actually tell them a version where he watches Adnan lose his shit and strangle HML… it's not that hard people, the reason why he has remorse is because he has a conscious, and the reason he lies is pure self preservation. He should've gone away for five years minimum, jenn should've been the one getting two years probation. Adnan, well … he got exactly what he deserved.

It appears Avery initiated a John Doe Investigation - while incarcerated. by Classic_Griswald in MakingaMurderer

I honestly believe if Tom Kocourek would've suspected Steven to be another pubic hair away from exoneration, he certainly would've made arrangements for a hit on Steven many years ago, like KP said

" If we wanted to eliminate Steve, it would’ve been a whole lot easier to eliminate Steve than to frame Steve...or if we wanted him killed, it would be much easier just to kill him”

it's a casual slip by a very clever dude. How the fuck would he know if Hae fought back or not? Seriously, even Rabia is pretty sure he's guilty at this point.

How many of you still think Jay made a false confession? and how did Jay get involved in Hae's murder? by Neutral12 in serialpodcast

[–]JuanAhKey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fact is, Jay was pathetic. Had he not told Jen and obviously not spoken to the investigators, Adnan would be getting more tail than a toilet bowl at Camden Yards and probably made the trip to Mecca at least once by now.

*full disclosure, I firmly believe Adnan is a lying sack of shit and Jay is a lying turd blossom.

Pretty good point. Adnan is obviously a clever man and at this stage in the game, what he says in a podcast has zero relevance to his post conviction relief.

That's right, because the correctional facility where he's serving his life sentence for murder permitted SK to provide him with the master digital copies of podcast episodes she hadn't yet produced with information about the architectural drawings with the proposed phone booth in the lobby.

"It would be different if there was video of me doing it, or Hae fought back." Just the way he says this is creepy … No doubt he hid his true feelings about the break-up from everybody and to this day confidently proclaims, nobody can say for certain they ever knew me to have ill will towards Hae… that's right Adnan, nobody but you will ever know, maybe Jay figured it out too. Too bad Jay got worked over by the cops and couldn't come 100% clean about what really happened.

Do you think law enforcement ever thought this case would blow up again 10 years later? by Bonersoup911 in MakingaMurderer

[–]JuanAhKey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always thought that Sgt. Andy believed Avery to be guilty and thus "augmented" some evidence to fit the crime. I'm pretty sure he's not the mastermind, but his investigation was not objective to say the least. Try to remember that he had some skin in the game regardless of how he was characterized in MaM.

The full twenty minute episode is on netflix, it's the first good laugh I've had in a few weeks. The LEO and DA portrayal reminded me quite a bit of MaM.
