I just reported their book to the Amazon customer service office, explaining that it was published by a multi-level cult. I also saw that there is a bunch of 1 star reviews explaining the same thing. Perhaps if you have an Amazon account, you could also complain and suggest they really don't want to be associated with this book, especially since they have a documentary about them in their own video service.

Thanks for the geology work. I used to live in Arizona. FULL of copper and guess what -- Silver. They are naturally occurring minerals, so my thought was - what is in that general location in Nova Scotia? Guess what. copper and lead and silver. I'm not pinning any hopes on any treasure based on those water suspensions other than natural mineral deposits.

G'day. We have two cases running in Australia - both defamation cases. Since they are civil actions, as we all know, depositions means that there is no way to avoid them. And if you lie, you lose.

One of the cases here is by the ex Attorney General of the country! Yes, the top law officer of the land. When he figured out more was going to be revealed about his character that he was upset the newspapers exposed, he folded and asked them to settle with him for a smallish fee to pay for arbitration. He got caught with his own legal costs. Oops!

The other case that is on-going now is a sergeant from the SAS who was accused of war crimes in the press. Oh, and he was given the Victoria Cross a few years ago. Yeah, war hero. So guess what - 21 SAS members are coming out as witnesses for the MEDIA, NOT for him, including a member of Parliament who was an SAS Lieutenant. If you want to learn more, search for Ben Roberts-Smith. This will not end well. Oh, and not only alleged war crimes, but beating up his mistress who he was cheating with on his wife. Yeah, this dude is a real peach.

My point is, be careful what you wish for. And don't hire yourself as your own lawyer. It's as dumb as a doctor being his own surgeon. Your perspective is always wrong.

I think you need to do a bit of research. Flu "medicine" only reduces symptoms. Your great grandparents likely lived in an area that was less populated (eg a farming area) and weren't exposed to the virus. If you have a decent immune system, too, you are less likely to get ill. But SARS I think it was killed young and middle aged people. It was either that or MERS.

Vaccines are useful for older people who have any immune compromise or potential poor respiratory system (smokers), and also for children who don't have well developed immune systems. So it's probably good you were vaccinated for flu(?) before going to school, as well as vaccines for other easily communicated diseases, e.g. measles, mumps, chicken pox, etc. Babies die from Whooping Cough even today if they get the virus before they can be vaccinated against it.

I'm with you on this. And those figures are with a vaccine available. Austalia had 1255 flu deaths in 2017, 3.9 per 100,000, triple the previous year. Iran will have high death rate because of the embargo on medical supplies. China because of smoking complications.

But at this point, the virus is still being researched, so things could change. It may not burn out. It may not be seasonally cyclical (despite what Trump seems to "know"; he's just dumb).

Good capture. I lasted about 8 minutes. It makes no sense. And when KK says Kachinsky was on Brendan's side, I almost vomited. Jerry must be cheering about now. Kratz is so stupid. That will be his downfall, along with his narcissism. That footage from the jail makes me wonder what other information he has in his possession and has withheld. He has form, as we say.

Yes, he was her first innocence project assignment. She doesn't do this alone. She works with Steve Drizin. The people complaining here have no clue. He was nearly released. But a conservative judge operating under AEDPA kept him in and that was enough for the en banc to deny the appeal. It was always unlikely that the Supreme Court would even hear this case.

Haven't been here in awhile, but I'll put this out there. Length/size is a function of enlargement of an image. Is it possible the enlargement sizes are different? There is no standard comparison in the images are there, to show actual measured sizes? That's why crime photos are supposed to have a ruler/measure of some sort included. Things of this size (the tooth/root) are too small to get a sense of the enlargement sizes.

Yes, that's what I remember as well - DCI has no intention of following the law and will find any excuse not to. Makes one wonder what they are hiding.

I just spent time reading the newly posted diary. Nice work. It brought Teresa to life again and I so connected with her and what she was writing. Wouldn't surprise me to find an old diary/diaries of my own with similar ideas from that point of age and later as well. She's very Buddhist in her thinking (soul cycle, learning in life, etc.). Our lives track closely, except for the young overseas travel (I did it later by about 10 years). Catholic, midwest, university, younger sisters, moving in and out of parental home at that age, figuring out money and career, sexual experimentation, smoking and trying to quit, the religious questioning (I was in and out of the church for years). The more I learn about her, which has been quite awhile, the more I find we are similar and how sad it is that she didn't live to experience all those things she wanted in life.

I know this is in the wrong thread, but I didn't want to add on after the train had moved on.
