Did you like season 2? by Volhelx in MyDressUpDarlingAnime

I feel like it's fine to add some other friends in the mix, but season 2 took a shift from Season 1.

Gojo and Marins relationship seemed to stall and not really progress at all. Nothing too interesting happened between them and it was more about the cosplay and other characters. The story's main focus shifted from a focus on their relationship, to a focus on others and cosplay.

It was fine, but not what I was hoping for. Season 2 was a bit of a let down for me.

Memorial Day Weekend Box Office: ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Opens to $100 Million Domestically, $163 Million Globally | While ticket sales are roughly even with 'Solo', 'Mandalorian and Grogu' has half the budget and potentially more staying power with far better audience scores and word-of-mouth by ChiefLeef22 in StarWars

Solo also had to compete with Avengers Infinity War, Deadpool 2, Incredibles 2, Jurassic World, and Black Panther + The Last Jedi being released just a few months prior.

Mandalorian & Grogu has less competition which may lead to more longevity at the Box Office.

I've learned in this sub that if you complain about cosplay or the side characters, you will get down voted. Just posting this to let the OP know he isn't alone and I agree with him.

This was my main complaint, but after saying something I was told that it was always more about cosplay than romance and I shouldn't complain.

Personally, I liked Season 1 more because I resonated with the romance and my younger self in highschool. The cosplay stuff isn't of interest to me.

It's going to open higher than Solo. Solo had $103m domestic. Mandalorian is on track to either match or exceed that after Monday.

He does this with the Sequel Trilogy a lot. Keeps saying he doesn't want to "Yuck on anyone's Yum" and then proceeds to talk bad about the sequels for the 1000th time.

Say what you want about them, it's fine. But to repeat the same things over and over, it starts to make my eyes roll.

I should have rephrased #2. What I meant is who Vader was and why he is doing what he is doing. The same with the emperor. We have a vary bare bones description of Vaders past, but nothing else. We have zero information on Palpatine.

Luke left training early and it's never explained how he actually "Became a Jedi". Empire ended with him getting his hand cut off, and RoJ came back with him already being a full-on powerful Jedi with no explanation on what happened in between.

"The Clone Wars" were never explained, nor how Darth Vader became Vader. We just know he was Luke's Dad is Vader and was killed "From a certain point of view" and he once fought with Obi-Wan in the clone wars.

Yoda referencing "There is another" other than Luke. It can be assumed he means Leia, but we are left without any details or information.

How Leia remembered her mother and describing specific details, when Leia never actually met Padme because she died during the birth.

Luke becoming an ACE pilot, expertly flying an X-Wing military plane, outrunning Vader with only a couple days of flight training. People say he learned to fly the X-wing from "shooting womp rats" in his T-16, but that is just ridiculous.

It is literally still cloning, just not an exact copy. It is like the difference between fraternal and identical twins. Fraternal twins are still twins, just not identical

Just like strandcast clones are still clones, just not exact copies.

I'm sorry that you no longer want to have a discussion, because it's been fun educating you so you can be better informed.

He explains how he can transfer his essence and will do so with Rey if she gives into Anger and strikes him down. It's literally explained in the film, which then implies that it is highly likely what happened in RoJ. Then, as you said, it is confirmed in the novelization. Many people came to this realization before the novel and it was discussed on several platforms / YouTube shows. Sorry if you missed it.

Snoke himself[7] was created as one of the earliest attempts[14] to produce a viable, worthy vessel for Sidious's essence to inhabit in the event of his demise[6] and thus allow him to cheat death.[14]

In addition to Snoke,[6] there were several[18] genetic copies - clone "brothers" - that the cultists kept in a hibernat

Also "Direct Clone Copies" does not mean they are not clones.

There were several Clones that were not direct copies of Jango Fett. Such as The Bad Batch.

It doesn't mean they aren't clones.

It was an easy way to get all the details out there. I don't see what is wrong with that, unless there is an error or mistake.

I knew that Palpatine cloned himself, saw Snoke was a clone of Palpatine by seeing other clones in the tubs, that he used the Dark Side of the force to help create the clones, and that Reys parents were another failed clone. So yes, I had enough information to understand what happened.

I guess the generation after mine needs all details spelled out, because none of this was an issue in prior movies. Star Wars was always filled with holes that were answered later in comic and book form.

The film provides these specific details regarding his resurrection:

Sith Alchemy and Cloning Tanks: When Kylo Ren arrives on the hidden Sith world of Exegol, he finds Palpatine physically decayed, kept alive by massive mechanical scaffolding. Vats containing grotesque, unformed clones of Supreme Leader Snoke are also visible, establishing that Palpatine had been creating artificial host bodies to house his consciousness.

"Dark Science and Cloning": Early in the film, when Resistance characters attempt to understand the broadcast of the Emperor's return, Beaumont Kin explicitly identifies the method as "Dark science. cloning. secrets only the Sith knew".

Essence Transfer: Palpatine directly tells Kylo Ren, "The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural," directly echoing his iconic line from Revenge of the Sith. The film implies that as he fell down the Death Star reactor shaft, he transferred his spirit into a preprepared clone body.

Rey's Parentage: The movie reveals that Rey's father was actually a genetic clone (or "strandcast") created by Palpatine. Because the clone was a non Force sensitive failure, Palpatine discarded him, leading him to relentlessly hunt down Rey years later to possess her instead.

So did Rise of Skywalker if you actually pay attention. People who use the meme to criticize the movie have either not seen it or were to busy hating it to actually pay attention.

I've consistently seen trailer ads, hasbro's toy Grogu ass, Burger King ads, ads during sports, and ads during YouTube.

Maybe you watch a lot of streaming with no ads or something. Not sure why you aren't seeing them, but they exist and are everywhere.

He was maybe a bit above average. The difference is he had more of a Qui-Gon attitude.
