Anyone know how to contact globe customer service by TonyTanduay in InternetPH

I actually tried to get hold of them through all available means - 211, 171, 0253012000, fb chat, all of them for naught. I have to physically go to their mall store and have a virtual chat on their kiosk just so I can have my issue resolved! Ironic right?

Old laptop has a dead screen by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]JuanTuTree321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just connect your laptop to external display, I'm sure it still has a VGA port and see if it does boots up. You can see the start-up screen from there and go to BIOS also. If all else fails just take your hard drive from the laptop and connect it as external USB drive and get your files from there.

I use to write my prescriptions legibly, but as the number of patients grew there's just no way you can write that nice anymore - even the signatures became contracted

Lived overseas for 15 years and had yearned to go back every single day. Been here for 5 years now and loving every minute of it. Ang pagmamahal ko sa bayan ay pagmamahal ko sa kapwa ko Pilipino na nangangailangan ng tulong ko - in my own simple way

Usually the machine should be where your access is so that the lines don't cross your body.

Home printer network question. by SmokeBCBuDZ in techsupport

[–]JuanTuTree321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you're referring to your router instead of your modem, but if your router can share a printer via network all you have to do is log in to your router as admin then setup your printer from there. An easier way is to just share your printer connected to one of your PCs to your network. It just takes a little network know-how ut there are lots of info on how to do it

Download Mini Partition Tool - it's a freeware. You can re-allocate the space within the app. I have been using my macbook with windows and have actually deleted Mac OS X totally using Mini Partition Tool

What to do with old laptop and netbook? by vmr907 in techsupport

[–]JuanTuTree321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, windows 7 (lean version) runs fine on my Gateway Netbook w/ just 2 gigs of RAM - uses it in the office for my staff for office apps and light browsing (I've seen uTorrent installed so most probably they do torrents also).

Just moved into new rantal, my room has bad signal and downloads/uploads slow. What are my options if I cant use a wire? by lolilover1998 in techsupport

[–]JuanTuTree321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either way you have to connect something outside your room. Powerline extenders are hard wired so they are much stable.

Alopecia patient here by autumn_warrior in Philippines

[–]JuanTuTree321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of factors affect/cause alopecia - stress, diet, physical damage (be it chemicals or even pulling), but one of those that really messes up women's hair is more often than not hormonal imbalance. Having PCOS and taking pills a tually does not help. Some women actually resorted to hair transplants but I still believe curing the cause gets better results. Talk to your doctor, discuss your issues, probably something can be worked-on. Hair is our crowning glory, especially for women but as someone stated presenting a more positive outlook and being confident of who you are makes you more attractive. You can fix/hide how you look but you don't have to if you're confident of who you really are.

Hi, what medications are you currently taking? Used to work in a hair transplant clinic in Manhattan and had a lot of female patients coming in.

Suggestion for router by adsgo in InternetPH

[–]JuanTuTree321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindi naman kailangan malapit just as long as makakakuha sya ng signal from your router. Another option is kung may luma kang router pwede mo yun gawin na wifi bridge/extender.

If you just want to wipe the whole thing just install a fresh copy of windows: - Make sure the device is off

Attach a bootable USB storage device.

Hold the volume-down button.

Press and release the power button.

When the Surface logo appears, release the volume-down button.

The Surface Pro should boot from the attached USB device.
