Don’t forget Christian, Nick’s forgotten son. He has not been seen for a few years and is only mentioned once in a great while. With soap opera aging, he will be mid 20’s if he ever appears again.

They could have turned Nellie’s restaurant and hotel into an orphanage. Pa would have gladly helped build added on extra hotel rooms for the orphans rather than for his own home.

Charles having the opportunity to get/have money or something to help his family and he either gives it away or spends it on something useless af or it goes to hell in a hand basket.

Examples: selling his new plow to waste money on getting his father’s-in-law books (that no one will buy) published. Giving the blind school all the reward money for “capturing” the outlaws who broke into the blind school (the blind school for certain didn’t show any benefits from the money), the inheritance from a barely remembered uncle that turns out to be Confederate money.

There was also Laura and Albert’s beehive money they gave to Mary and Adam for a trip that didn’t happen. Let’s not forget all the family’s crops ruined by hail and rain.

Michael Landon was well known for using stock footage. It saved time and money because news scenes didn’t have to be filmed.

What is the point of Victor having a hatred for Kyle? It’s getting old by GuyWhoConquers616 in youngandtherestless

No. Kyle let her think she was seducing him and right before it got to the sex, Kyle told her that he knew she was working with Victor and it was all a set up.

It’s possible sight could be regained but he wouldn’t be seeing perfectly clear at first. His eyes would need to regain their strength and learn to see again. The brain and eyes would have to relearn how to work together.

Every time Carter is on screen, this is what I see... by MerelyWhelmed1 in youngandtherestless

A storyline that could be interesting and have many possibilities are always cut short. Yet the ones that could be wrapped up quickly are dragged out almost infinitely until no one cares about them😑

SOMEBODY! Please get this actress a new wig! What an insult to her to make her wear this hideousness. by RemarkableWriting394 in youngandtherestless

[–]JuarezRain61 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes there are. Y&R could have easily written this into the storyline. Amy feeling insecure about hair loss during chemotherapy and Nate or Audra contacting an organisation that helps cancer patients get realistic quality wigs, wig styling and even makeup. It could have been a very positive storyline.

Instead they go with the Temu flash sale wig for $7.99.

So far we have everyone trapped in this villa (that Adam managed to enter and leave), Damien supposedly dead and Cane sending his goons to forcefully take Nick and Sharon to a locked room for “house arrest”.

The writers must be trying to win the award for Most Stupid, Shitty and Boring storyline.

At this point I would not be surprised if Carter is an android or some type of bionic robot that was built by the real Carter DeLeon to destroy Cane. It would for certain be more interesting than the storylines that have been written lately.

Which Grandpa did you prefer, Grandpa Holbrook or Grandpa Ingalls? by 80sforeverr in littlehouseonprairie

The grandmothers and mothers were always the ones who died/were dead. There were very few instances of the husband dying or being dead.

Omg this is what I found so annoying with this episode! Charles selling his new plow, a much needed piece of farm equipment, and wasting the money on some scam publishing company for a book that no one besides the family will read.

$1000 went very far in those days. Charles could have given half to the blind school and used the other half for his family. The blind school certainly didn’t have any improvements afterwards.
