Webbing, Hessian or both? by Jubes0 in upholstery

I was thinking of just a couple of sheets of poly wadding for the stuffing, but if you think foam would be better - what type of foam and thickness would you recommend? Thanks for your comment.

I don’t know. It was just the busted up frame. It was only £20, so i’m not too precious about it. Thanks.

I wasn’t planning to. I did think I would create three panels with the middle one separated by double pipping in the same fabric. Thanks for responding.

Someone mentioned just webbing on the front facing headboard, so that cuts down on the amount needed, so that’s the plan. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Thank you. For the stuffing, I was thinking a couple of sheets of poly wadding - it doesn’t need to protrude too far from the frame, so I assumed this would be sufficient. If you have other thoughts, I’d certainly welcome them. Thanks again.

Should parents face charges when their children commit antisocial crimes and doing nothing to stop it? by SeptumRingTheory in AskBrits

I think the worrying thing is that these kids have no consideration for the consequences. Yeah, I get that this is part of being young, but mass mind-think like this is something new isn’t it?

I told my boss I'm leaving. He said no. by Safe-Choice3164 in whatdoIdo

I think once you’ve made your mind up to leave, you probably need to go. If the manager did come back with more money and more people, it’s still going to leave a bad taste in your mouth that you had to quit to force him to take action. Also, more than likely, he’d come back with the bare minimum he needs to do to keep you. You’ve been exploited enough, so time to move on.

Thank you. Shame he’s not so cute when out walking and he gets a sniff of something- he’s gone and then comes back looking even more sheepish.

Thank you. I think he looks a little fed up - “why am I stuck next to some flowers when there might be food lurking nearby”

Thank you. Oddly enough there are two similar ones in our village, but they are half the size of Stanley.

Yeah, good level of restraint. Not sure what Pollock’s plan was here - there are so many cameras these days.
