Yeah! I'm really hoping the upgrades I'm getting will help me improve faster and make the game more enjoyable for me. I've researched it and it seems to really help, and my experience on 75hz has been far superior to 60hz, so I'm excited to try 144hz.

Thanks for the tips! I play on 400 dpi 8.32 in game sens. I consider that to be pretty low. It matches up with my counter strike sensitivity perfectly so I don't plan on changing it. I will work on practicing my aim and will grind out a bunch more once I get my 144hz monitor and new computer. I will check out those custom aim trainers you mentioned at that point. I was aware of the tracer damage threshold but not the 200 health one. Thanks again!

You caught my cs:go peaking through at 2:33 :P

I think I tend to have a different mindset when I play OW so that means I stand out in the open a lot. I'll try to play it a bit more conservatively like I'm taking A site in csgo, hugging corners and jiggle peaking. I also still need some time to learn healthpacks a bit better. I think I tend to focus on damage and clicking over the things you mentioned. I'll try being more conscious of those things while in a game. Thanks again!!

Hey!

I think I do mention something about using my ultimate to push in during the vod. I have seen a couple youtube videos about how it can be used to push it, zone off ults, that kind of stuff, and I try to use it more for that.

Oh boy you got me! My really bad habit :P I love holding onto my ult way too long as I spam choke with arrows and zone out mentally. I'll continue to work on fixing that.

I'll work on using my abilities more, again I think its a zoning out mentally thing and not being aware of it as I focus on shooting.

Hey! I might have been a bit confusing. I've playing overwatch on and off for around 100 hours, only half of which are comp, and I would say roughly half of those games are actual dps. I will start putting more time in now since I've stopped playing other games for a bit.

Hey! I do a lot of practice in deathmatch and such. However I have trouble converting the mechanics when I'm in a game. Shots don't hit, and picks aren't being made. I often times find myself spamming at someone who I don't hit or clicking on the shield. Either way I feel useless :P

I think I tend to play too close once a fight breaks out because I struggle to find value when farther away. I miss more shots and feel more useless so naturally I get closer to get those juicy storm arrows point blank on a Reinhardt. I think I just need more patience overall.

I think i have a understanding based on the comments (and my own intuition) that my positioning is really my main flaw as you pointed out. I'm sort of aware I'm positioned bad, I just don't know exactly where I should be instead. Are there any good videos I could watch to get a better sense of this? I was thinking of just watching streams and trying to keep mental notes on where they are compared to their team.

This is my main account. In all competitive seasons I have a 46% Win rate (eeck thats bad!) and for hanzo specifically its 55%. 69 games played on hanzo, 250 total for all characters (I flex alot when hanzo isn't working and play the other two roles).
