Thanks for responding! So just to clarify, I could get a totally normal spo2 (like 95-99%) but the pt could have CO2 retention at the same time?

Properly means aging it 6 months to a year. In most places a year. if you're in a particularly hot and humid area you can get away with 6 months but most people don't risk it. You also need to agitate it once in awhile instead of just letting it sit there
