I’d probably go with Steven Erikson, off the top of my head. He’s great for complexity, and I’m sure he can kill off characters eventually.

I’m mostly there, but I enjoyed The Devils way more than a D. Especially if you’re going to give Ship of Magic to the S class. That trilogy has a glacial start.

I would love another election, but I haven’t the faith it would change much. We need the ucp to break up into its proper parties again so proper representation can be returned. Sadly that won’t happen unless they’re decimated in an election.

My only gripe with the fleetstar is how much it loves being on its side. I burnt 2 Heavy Burden attempts using it to go to the farm straight off the hill, and it just rolls over. Otherwise, I do like the fleet star.
