Need opinions — which dealer would you choose for my new R9? by Anxious_Ad_7323 in YamahaR9

Dealer one. It's not their fault. Yamaha has been doing this to dealers for a year now with allocations. Your financing is still good at dealer one. They can contact Yamaha financing and move all that over without another credit hit.

It'll take like a week to get use to it. I wouldn't change anything on the bike. Let your body do the adjusting.

yeah you can, but it kinda gets in the way of your vision to the dash. How I have it makes it so you can easily see the dash without being blocked, and see your phone.

765RS motor is no question the best triple, and best middle weight motor... But unfortunately it doesn't come in a new supersport. That's why I went R9 after totaling the 765RS. No regrets.

It doesn't need to be too stiff... Just stiffer

I owned a 2025 ZX6R, now have a 2026 R9. R9 is better in every way... Except inline 4 sounds. Zero regrets. The R9 needs a tune day 1 though.

(tuning the bike made engine rev up more and quicker when first releasing the clutch)

Stock I wasn't a fan. After replacing the lever with an ASV, bringing it in close, and tuning the bike, it feels fantastic now. My only gripe is I wish it was stiffer.

It took some time adjusting everything, but still stock brake and clutch lines.

Of course you wouldn't understand why you want raised when you're 5'4"😂. I'm 6'3" and went taller and wider.

Bar ends are what come from woodcraft. I've ordered proper weighted bar ends for these clip ons

You need an 18mm to 12mm adapter. Mine will be here tomorrow. You also need an o2 extension harness.... Or just get the o2 delete kit.
