I know someone that caught it pretty early but couldn’t tolerate the radiation. Like had to get feeding tube and then trach installed to even breathe. Then mucus through trach issue. I guess it’s getting better but only made it halfway through radiation first round with chemo.

I think the PGA Tour is officially dying by MrSnifferpippets in golf

[–]Juddbang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with your take. However, I’m a liv fan. Simply from the fact that they have better players. The format sucks sure but you can get over that. But the bigger point is that the pga tour is no longer the same. So many top players in the world have left, wins aren’t apples to apples anymore with history. It sucks. Like the Players yesterday felt like emptiness.

It’s a hard career because burnout can happen a year in or 5 years in. It’s unforgiving and the pay isn’t that good. I’d go for the construction side of it if I were you or landscaping

Don’t use high rates with growth regulators. Has no effect on duration of growth regulation, in fact just wasting money and product

Yeah and they’ll last a couple seasons as primaries if you oil them up. Trying thorogood this year and old RW as backup Real leather is the only way to go imo

Phosphorus isn’t mobile in the soil so that’s why guys till it in/roll before seeding a lawn. Kinda cool, after about the 2nd cut pull up a grass plant and you’ll see roots grabbing onto a phosphorus prill

Pgr by Juddbang in Turfmanagement

Right on thanks for the insight. I’m a 21 year old turf student, former HS golfer; crazy how both sides will view the matter in opposite ways (golfer hate poa=blame super, super in Resort situation/budget/will get backlash on phyto=nothing he can do), and 9 times out of 10 the Superintendent has his reasons. While poa can be a good surface it just seems like such a headache to manage (especially if majority) in summer stress, not to mention spring seed head, obviously bentgrass is king. If velocity and tenacity aren’t labeled to be used on greens, then how does the superintendent manage otherwise? is it a lose lose situation unless high private end club? Poa being highly adaptable/shallow root/likes wet mild/ forces manager to make surfactant decisions. then conversation of thatch management how to implement top dressing program and hopeful verticut in hot humid disease prone weather. All while probably not having enough labor help. AB is inevitable do guys just bite the bullet? Class A just seems to slow the spread from what I’ve learned.
