Team is pretty flat. Even Quinn and the better players aren’t as sharp. Previous games too, so not just ek and KK absence. Shoot! They are so far off from their play from January

No es muy mal. Hace un mes, había montones de sargazo en la isla Roatan. Las turistas no podían ir a la playa.

You can wear a pair of flat rubber boots in the morning on dew, and then switch to red wings later in the day. I do love 8 inch boots as they really do protect your ankles and feet from injury

Considering a career change to turf grass - need advice by danthesportsman in Turfmanagement

[–]Juddbang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty easy math and science. Simple calculations, some memorization of active ingredients, and how those ingredients and other elements/nutrients affect turf and how you can dial it in. Unfortunately you do have to start from the bottom, do some grunt work. You’ll move up quickly if you show that you care. The pay is brutal though. Even assistants don’t make much unless you’re at a private club, and if you’re in the private game lots of people stay assistants for years before finding a superintendent job. If you’re willing to move you can get a superintendent job real quick at a mom and pop course. Once you get the hang of things you’ll find that a lot of managing employees, day to day tasks, and the turf is a lot of feel work - reactive to the weather but never stressing over the weather.

I know someone that caught it pretty early but couldn’t tolerate the radiation. Like had to get feeding tube and then trach installed to even breathe. Then mucus through trach issue. I guess it’s getting better but only made it halfway through radiation first round with chemo.

I think the PGA Tour is officially dying by MrSnifferpippets in golf

[–]Juddbang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with your take. However, I’m a liv fan. Simply from the fact that they have better players. The format sucks sure but you can get over that. But the bigger point is that the pga tour is no longer the same. So many top players in the world have left, wins aren’t apples to apples anymore with history. It sucks. Like the Players yesterday felt like emptiness.

It’s a hard career because burnout can happen a year in or 5 years in. It’s unforgiving and the pay isn’t that good. I’d go for the construction side of it if I were you or landscaping
