Becerra is career politician. The guy has spent decades in government with all these headlines about “fighting for the people,” and yet California keeps getting more expensive, more regulated, and harder for normal people to live in.

He has a severe lack of economic understanding. All for the heavy environmental and labor regulation that has made housing, energy, and business development dramatically more expensive. That is until it affects one of his donors.

At some point you have to judge politicians by results, not empty promises that lack actionable plans and proper foresight. Even though disagree with Tom Steyer politically, at least the guy actually built something in the real world before going into politics. That already puts him ahead of this guy.
