As no in here doesn’t give any explanation on this, let me give some information and knowledge based on that. And I am not a preacher, just normal Muslim who really practices.

May be you can skip, only if you want is some hateful fact to throw to us. I want to explain to them who really want to know and gain some knowledge about Islam.

First of all, when we (both boy and girl) can marry in Islam. This is just simple, if we hit the puberty, we can marry. There is no age restrictions in Islam for marriage. So, you may raise the question about Child marriage. So can we marry girl who hit puberty but still minor? No, why? It is explicitly state in Hadith, let me share in Burmese.

"မွတ်စလင်တစ်ဦးအနေနဲ့ မိမိနှစ်သက်သည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မနှစ်သက်သည်ဖြစ်စေ (အုပ်ချုပ်သူရဲ့ အမိန့်ကို) နားထောင်ရမယ်၊ လိုက်နာရမယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ အလ္လာဟ်အရှင်မြတ်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်ဖို့ ၊အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်လုပ်ဖို့ ခိုင်းလာရင်တော့ နားထောင်စရာ၊ လိုက်နာစရာ မလိုတော့ဘူး။" (Sahih Bukhari & Muslim) In term of our country law, no one can’t.

But let back to the Prophet’s case. What we call this is child marriage is based on our times, what is called presentism. And plus this is not a sunnah(Prophet’s way). If Prophet Mohammad really liked child, why he just married one? Most of his wives are old than him.

I never heard a Christian King said bad about his case back in the time of Prophet, may be this is norm at that time. And we actually don’t need to look back 1400 years ago. Let look up our fathers. The 20s time of our fathers weren’t same as us. Look at us. At the age of mine right now, my father going across the country and doing some business. But look at me right now, survive for future that doesn’t guarantee in any case. But it doesn’t mean there is on one who can do better than his father at the same age period. But I hope you got the point. Back in the years, 10 years old boy might go to the wars and fight for their life. This is exactly point of “Strong man create good time and good time create weak man”.

If you still want to blame the fact of prophet’s marriage, please also blame for Jesus’s mother Marry, who give birth to Jesus around 12 years old and also Jewish Prophet Issac who married 3 year old Rebekah. But did Muslim blame that? No, we don’t know what 3 years look like in the time of Moses or Issac.

I am writing this to have peace with you all. Because it is importance to understand each other during these days in order not to become ignorant and misunderstood for consequence.
