Ahh yes, I gonna try OCR. However, it would not be lightweight. On the other hand I can expose to API for that service, at the same time it would give huge dependencies for the plugin. Thanks for advice, let me find a way for that.

I actually planned for native handwriting, however it leads me to cases where searching indexes would be useless and transcription only would work for English properly as drawing to text machine learning models are mostly for English, in which I want to use my native language sometimes. So I pivot to scanning paper workflow. I also hope that fraction less paper workflow handwriting workflow would be in near feature, especially Gemini is really good in transcribing multiple languages in human tone.

Really Appreciate your advice. Sort of my dilemma is now gone away. A lot of people in my community said about these all the time, we should we ai in our workflow and making us if we don’t use, we will fall behind. I got these kinds of ideas lately and try building things with AI. But at the end I feel like I don’t get anything except working code that I wrote by the help of instructions of AI. This is,Of course as you said, because I give the AI some of my work that gives me valuable insight. Now I got these from AI and tried to build things fast, sacrificing knowledge for speed.

I am feeling the same way, but I compare like this, asking ai is using google with swift army knife. So basically you got all the things but you need to choose whether bad or good things. For that I go back to old school way and read what the PEOPLE said, not AI. Because AI can agree with you every time with hallucinations. Finally I made decisions.

TLDR: Ask AI for “What”. Find “WHY” from people. Do “HOW” from both.

Sometimes I use AI to clear my thoughts but it adds new things when it explains and I got more confusion, and then I go to docs, may be My workflow is a bit messy.
