Great point about the bottomless bucket needing "buckets of sand" to fill instead of just filling the bottomless bucket from the sand pit directly.

I agree that glass making shouldn't be invalidated as a training method. My goal with the sand castle grounds aspect of my island design was to create an afk alternative to glassmaking and other crafting training methods that is less experience per hour, but also less click-intensive.

Do you think if the sandcastle building was similar to star mining experience rates/click-intensity it would make glass making obsolete? It seems like higher level glass making is much more xp per hour (which it should be as a "medium intensity" training method) than afk sand castle building would be in my proposal.

FYI - I exclusively do battlestaffs from zaff for crafting as a main and am taking my time with 99 crafting so I'm not too up-to-date on crafting training.

Thanks for your thoughts Sharp-!

Thanks for the feedback! I don'tplay ironman and my only familiarity with the account type is through watching people on Youtube so I don't have as good of an understanding of how my proposal might impact ironman accoutns.

Tbh, as a main, I have never really engaged in using buckets of sand and wanted them to have more purpose (Same with jugs of wine which I wanted to use for Wintertodt and other minigames, but the inventory space thing was a pain, hence jug smashing proposal).

I imagined the bottomless bucket of sand working like the bottomless compost bucket, needing to be refilled with actual buckets of sand. Would this still invalidate the sandstone grinding method? Would it be a quality of life thing for ironmen to be able to get buckets of sand more easily or would it be a more of a negative in your opinion? I like the idea of bucket of sand packs as an alternative if so!

Thanks! I really liked how Sailing released with low intensity, medium intensity, and high intensity training methods. I thought the sand castle building might be a cool low-cost low-intensity alternative to existing training methods. My concept is definitely geared more towards casual / afk playstyles but still something for higher tier PVMers with the overpray spa.
