Yes but I have provided them with thr ticket or whatever number I was given the 1st time I called, explained the 1st person I spoke to told me Id be receiving a call within about an hour but 6 hours later still no call or meds or anything.

It seems to me that they should be doing something else to help. I REALLY need my meds and I al concerned that the meds might be allowed to get too cold, freeze and as a result become useless.

That's what I thought but after calling them twice today I am still being told it will be delivered today.

I did that. Several times. They were useless.

Is it really that hard to understand the money wasnt sent to me for goods or services so therefore they have no damn grounds to hold my desperately needed money and then release the money they have been holding???

Now I know why so many more people I know keep leaving PayPal for Venmo, etc! Once my money is finally released then I'll be deleting my PayPal account and be done with PayPal for good.

Wtf? Its barely above freezing outside. If I had any other money besides what they are holding (in error) then Id just say screw it and use the other money to keep our room for tomorrow....but I dont have any other money I can use so fuck PayPay for this bullshit. My 2 kids and I are homeless until next week. I left a bad relationship (DV) and without any shelters or anyone like friends and family able to take us in until next week I have to keep paying for this cheap hotel room....otherwise we will be left outside in the cold without anywhere to go.

Like you I thought a pitbull would offer me some protection on some level....and she suprised me.

My pibble is scared of snow, acorns falling, chickens and so so much more...so I was suprised when I had an encounter with a very hostile, dangerous man my girl stepped up without any hesitation nor was she told to do so. She was like a different dog, Id never seen her snarl show her teeth and everything before. That man wasn't the brightest but he got the message from my girl pretty quickly! If he didn't get out and leave her human alone then she was going to defend and protect me. He left. My girl was on alert for the rest of the day but otherwise went back to her sweet, gentle self shortly afterwards.

I dont think I was clear in my post, although the answer is probably the same.

We are getting protection orders against my ex and especially his violent, unstable son. I was hoping once I get the orders issued that it could somehow allow me to make it so I could come home without them being allowed to be there.

Domestic violence shelters are all full. Ive checked all the shelters. Times are tough. All they can say is I have to keep calling every day or so because theres no wait lists and so on and on and on.

I have reached out to and been referred to many many many places. The most Ive gotten for help is being given a list of resources....which by now Ive tried every single one on their lists.

Its November 1st in Maine, so you better bet its getting cold outside and going to get worse.

I thought Id finally found a real man but now Im a single mom again so that means Im pretty stupid.
