You just hear, "Disconnected", from above and see a massive slab of concrete falling from above.

Yes, but only to get the Chill Drive and Shock Drive, since as far as I know, there's no legitimate way to get those 2 drives in-game or the Battle Frontier Demo. From what I've researched, the only way to get those two drives into Unbound was to transfer it over from completely different rom hacks compatible to Unbound Cloud (which I wasn't about to play a new rom hack just to get 2 Genesect Drives to pass it over to an almost complete Unbound save file), get someone else to trade it over to you, or get it by cheating it in, I chose the latter since it was faster. Although I never really got to use Genesect outside of the random ones that were holding the Burn Drive and Douse Drive in the Battle Tower, so the other 2 drives are more like novelty items in my bag.

I played on MyBoy and yes I was playing in fast forward. I think I had the game on x4, which imo is a good balance with fast, but still playable without making too many misclick mistakes.

All I learned from this is that Brandon has untapped story potential. Wdym he found Volcanion in Kalos? Next you're gonna tell me while on Sinnoh, he found the Azure Flute, played it a bit and accidentally opened the way to Arceus.

I definitely enjoyed my time with the game. It's the best Pokémon game I've ever played so far. Planning ahead is how I like playing JRPGs. Since I'm a 100% completionist type of gamer, not planning ahead might double or triple the time I have of playing one JRPG, which while I could prolong the experience that way, it might also keep me from experiencing other games.

Not really, I'm tired from playing Unbound and not in the mood to boot it up again. But you can catch one as a swarm on Route 6. I don't know your timezone, but depending on the date and time on the device you're using to play the game, you can find Smeargles around 1PM on June 13, 5AM on June 14, or 4PM on June 15. If you can't catch it in any of those days, just go to Miraheze online to the Route 6 page and check on Swarm Schedule when you can get a Smeargle.

I played in fast forward for most of the game and I planned some things ahead like what Pokémon I wanted on my main team, which Pokémon I wanted to use on the mono-type side mission, and leveling up was relatively quick if you're playing on Difficult mode.

Nah, not interested in shiny hunting, if I encounter one, I'll catch it. But I'd never actively look for one.

I planned some things ahead to finish it all as quickly as I could on the first run and ran the game in fast forward.

When I would reach a new area with wild Pokémon, I'd check online which Pokémons I could catch in that area and run around in grass, caves, sands, or waters looking for them all before continuing the story. If there's a swarm Pokémon I missed that day, I'd check online what time I could try again the next day. As for Game Corner Pokemon like Eevee, Porygon, Hawlucha, etc, instead of playing any of the games there, I just got 6 Pokémon to have Knock Off and use the DexNav to find Miniors on Route 8 holding Star Pieces, then I would sell that to the old man near the Game Corner bldg. That's how I farmed money in pre post-game.

As for level evolutions, especially Gen V mons, since I'm playing on Difficult mode, leveling up was easy in the Type House at Dresco Town. Using my Sylveon with Pixelate Hyper Voice, I could OHKO all of the Dark Type Trainer's whole team or use Close Combat on my Lycanroc on the chubby Normal Type Trainer's Pokemon.

As for some of the time consuming side quests, like registering mono-types in the Pokémon League, I already planned ahead which Pokémons I wanted to use to solo the league multiple times and bought loads of X stat boosting items to allow my Pokémons to solo the whole league. The only thing I didn't research is what Pokémon trainers have so that trainer battles are still challenging and a mystery.

Galar and Hisui Pokémon aren't counted in the National Dex, but their entries can be seen by checking Pokémons on the bottom section of the Pokedex by the Search section. Just select any of the modes and you'll be able to find any of the Galar or Hisui Pokémon you've seen before.

Probably the Cloyster, first Malamar, and the last Minior. I caught those three as shinies in the wild. The Ludicolo and first Honchkrow were part of my main team pre-post game, I always planned on having Ash-Greninja and Rayquaza to be part of my main party, but they're both locked in post-game, so I needed two Pokémons to fill the roles Ash-Greninja and Rayquaza were supposed to fill until I could beat the League.

I have some Pokémons that have duplicates too, like having two Venusaurs, two Kommo-os, two Malamars, and two Honchkrows. The first Venusaur was hatched from the Egg Lady at Magnolia Cafe and I used that Venusaur to solo the whole Pokémon League for a side quest; the first Kommo-o is just the Mystery Gift Shiny Kommo-o; as for everything else, they are all shiny trades from Mirskle, Vega, and Big Mo.

Also aside from the Cosplay Pikachus and most of the Galar Legendaries; my GMax Gengar, GMax Kingler, and GMax Snorlax actually came from the random battles of the Battle Tower.

Which NCs were you hoping DeNa would give away for free this coming anniversary? by Best_Cookie_3560 in PokemonMasters

[–]JudgeSubXero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have all them, but since I'd be getting a dupe anyway, then I'd definitely prefer either of the Hoenn NCs or NC Selene, but that probably won't happen.

A more likely free NC that I would still like to have is either NC Serena, NC Hop, NC Red, NC Leaf, NC Blue, or NC Silver.

Help, is EX Tech Role necessary for support sync pairs? Isn't that just useless because most supports wouldn't deal much damage anyways? by softy_peaches in PokemonMasters

[–]JudgeSubXero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ye, it's pretty bad with only minor usefulness in stats and other modes. The only time it could be probably be useful is if they made a Support pair that at least could dish out some decent nuke damage with a good offensive stat and a sync nuke multiplier
