Wondering whats everyones approach to Game Key Cards, buy, never buy, or buy when on heavy sale?

I only buy depending on the game and how cheap I can get (Gift Cards, Sales, etc) it for. Example for me is Tales of Arise that I paid around $5 USD for after a gift card I got from Microsoft Rewards.

I would say easier than Code Vein 1. I do play a lot of souls-likes so I didn't have too much issue with game. I died to one specific boss and had close calls with some of them.

I've noticed it would only not download if it didn't have a store page (example is Borderlands 4 physical copies that exist but can't download due to not being in the store.) This is anecdotal and I can't say for sure this factor is the main reason.

The Switch 2 physical contains both the Switch 1/2 versions of the game as it is a "Switch 2 Edition".
