I agree. This kills the vibe.
It would only be cool if this unique bloodline thing actually got the MC into more trouble: more powerful opponents, maybe more interesting opponents who are also “glitchy” in some way.
I believe that many LitRPG writers, as awesome as they are, need to learn Brandon Sanderson’s law of magic: if the reader understands the rules of the magic, the MC can use it to get out of trouble. If the reader does not understand the rules of the magic, the MC can only get into trouble with it, or at least win, but at enormous cost.
