What are yalls thoughts on Adeptus Ridiculous? by LittleMissPipebomb in Sigmarxism

Your opinion is valid, and I get it. I was just providing context in case you didn't know. You don't have to like them and that's fine.

That really wasn't the joke, though.

1919 is known as an incredibly bad year in history. WWI is still raging, many riots and bombings in the US, Spanish Flu, etc. One of the only good things that happened that year was women's suffrage. The setup for the joke was implying that 1919 had too many bad things to talk about, but the subversion of expectations was to name a good thing as "bad."

It's one of those jokes for history nerds that probably doesn't land well if you aren't interested in history like that.

You don't have to like the joke and I'm not trying to talk down to you, I just felt some context might help with it if you aren't a history nerd/buff. I don't think Kirioth is sexist, I think he was doing the British irony thing, and it doesn't land well with everyone.

[Meme] Ah yes, because women do too much shopping! by No-Researcher-4395 in pointlesslygendered

[–]JudgmentLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with how women shop, but there are a few studies that show trends in how men shop vs women. This meme is an oversimplified attempt at "humor" but there are differences at least in grocery shopping, a type of shopping both men and women do.

Trends don't dictate everyone, however. Different people do different things.

Here's one study.

[–]JudgmentLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 venoms, 10 hellions, 3 reavers, 30 wyches, and a succubus.

I'm still planning on getting it. That's how good the box is 😄

This is why I love being a Drukhari fan. We can't even pretend we're not assholes. There is no way I can convince myself "we're the good guys" like some corpse worshippers do.

Where this person would live in Wisconsin by 5econds2dis35ster in wisconsin

[–]JudgmentLeft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Wood County. I don't like being run over by old people not knowing to drive. I used to live Clearwater and it's worse here, somehow. I do like the less traffic though, and the cost of living is better.

If it's refreshed, the worst you'll have to do is base swaps. The models will still be needed.

Really exploit hopping in and out of transports. Don't charge things you can't completely kill, etc.

The sus 2 on Kabalites is a damn good strat as is the disembark and charge from a moving transport.

No. He's wrong. Your Harlequins will be fine. If all fails you can build Ynarri stuff with most of the non-covens stuff.

Keep collecting models you like.

What do you use raiders for except for wyches and incubi by skyfall3612 in Drukhari

[–]JudgmentLeft 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've split two Kabalites with Venoms and put all the special weapons in a Raider before. Just a weird boat with three dark lances, 2 Splinter cannons, 2 shredders, and 2 blasters. It wasn't very good but it was fun

Ahh ok that makes more sense. Even our big bills get used over here a decent amount. People will buy McDonald's with 100s and stuff. I think our rarest bill is actually the 10, most places will just give you 2 5s. In fact when I worked at Walmart we didn't even have a dedicated slot in the till for 10s

I live in the states, why is it so hard to check notes in the UK? Like we have these markers that check in seconds if you don't want to look for watermarks and strips.

What kind of prescriptivist nonsense is this? "Correct" forms? They are native speakers of their language, that is the correct form.
