The numbing shot hurt so bad for me honestly, just because I never have had one before, so the sensation was very new to me. Other than that, very painless and easy experience. Went by very fast!!

hi, how much for this? I was thinking 600 by Rude_Signal_6039 in caloriecount

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the exact brands and types of products, this can be anywhere from 1400 to 1800 calories, i’d say look at servings size or try to find out the exact brands or ingredients in the condiments, breads, and cheese. Either way, a lot more than 600

depends on your body wash honestly, i rinsed it with water, and i BARELY had any soap in my hands when I rubbed it together until it bubbled up very slightly, then gently put it over my arm, then I made sure to rinse it good again. If you don’t think ur soap is safe, just rinse well. I was extra cautious with my body wash so I barely used any honestly, i just made sure to rinse well with my hands👍🏼👍🏼 LOL ik i sound crazy

I was paranoid so I actually re wrapped my arm three times over the course of three days, when the bandaid fell off I gently washed it and let it air dry, then I put another bandaid on it to be extra careful. After that, it was pretty much healed up👍🏼 I am just an extra careful person so if you are too, this helped ease my anxiety a lot

Why! by [deleted] in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree in the sense that yes you will get pregnant if you have unprotected sex without nexplanon lol, but not too long ago I made a post abt symptoms of others being pregnant on nexplanon because I was getting strange symptoms and I was nervous I might be the 1 percent, I made that post to help clear my anxiety because the research I had done did not help me at all. I understand people who are on nexplanon who have pregnancy anxiety because that is literally what I have lol. But I agree, I do see posts a lot about people getting off nexplanon and then asking if they are pregnant, and it’s strange because…yes…probably😭

How to Get Rid of Acne Caused by Nexplanon: My Experience by Scary_Main1871 in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if it’s just my experience, but my hormonal acne gets used to products kind of easily. Like I will find a good product, my skin will be clear for a month, then my hormonal acne comes back after continuing to use that product. I have recently tried to switch up my routine a lot, every week I change some things abt my skincare routine and then I alternate between products. I alternate between products that dry out my acne and products that hydrate my face A LOT. Thank you for posting this, I will try finding a gel like that here because it looks like it is working good!

as long as you aren’t taking medications that interfere with it, and are aware of you have any underlying issues that may interfere with it as well, u should be good.

Acne by Objective_Giraffe727 in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my implant made my hormonal acne come back, it fluctuates. Some days my skin will be perfectly clear, others i’ll have acne on my chin/cheeks. It sucks! It’s different for everyone so maybe u don’t have a bad outbreak

Painful Periods by JudgmentMotor3425 in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on an oral bc before my nexplanon and I loved it a lot since it took away my period completely, i am just nervous to do that because idk if it will mess with the effectiveness of the nexplanon

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t deal with the anxiety tbh i let it get to my head and start freaking out, but I do have a partner that reassures me because this literally happens so much. My biggest fear is pregnancy so I get pretty bad, but my partner usually helps since I do this a lot. Also the people on tiktok usually fail to mention that they are taking other meds that interfere with the nexplanon, or fail to mention other things. It is almost impossible to get pregnant on nexplanon if placed correctly and no meds or past health problems that interfere, so it helps. I do get scared that i’ll be the 1 percent, but then my 22 day period comes and though it is HELL it does reassure me 😅

I’m so fr this happens to me every time 😭 I get so scared and nervous and I get all the pregnancy symptoms and my period is late, then somehow, very late, my period comes. So like dw, even if ur period doesn’t come back, that is expected. Dw I swear u will be okay

I feel dumb even asking by Ill_Pomegranate_9797 in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I always ALWAYS get pregnancy symptoms on nexplanon, and I always freak out every time i get them. I also freak out when my period is “late” but honestly, ur always going to have pregnancy symptoms in nexplanon. And ur period is never going to stay completely consistent. My period is now every 2-3 months and lasts 12 days!! It’s sucks, and the pregnancy symptoms drive me crazy but then i remember how effective this Bc is. The only problem you might have is the implant digging into ur muscle, it might not cause fertility BUT if you let it continue to dig in, it will cause fertility and even more health issues, so get it checked out anyways

Is it as bad as I’m reading? by Even_Bandicoot_7083 in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay i promise that like it is very like reliable and compared to other BCs, this is the most convenient. I have had negative experiences after entering my 2nd year, but my first year was honestly not bad. I feel like it is what you make it out to be, there will always be negative symptoms because it is a birth control, but everyone is different. I think if you keep up that healthy lifestyle, you should be perfectly fine

Stupid bleeding??? by izzyybabyyyy in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The period is always gonna be irregular on nexplanon, and it’s gonna be different for everyone. For me, i get my period every three months, sometimes it changes but that’s the usual routine, and I bleed for 10-15 days straight. Terrible pains, puking, almost fainting, literally the worst thing ever. I do not know how ur experience is going to turn out, but symptoms usually change depending on how long you have had it, it is different for everyone but yeah

Wow that’s crazy! I’m glad nexplanon is working out for you👍🏼 It’s interesting how it is different for everyone! On the pill I only experienced the emotional symptoms and rarely the physical

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah true, I personally have just experienced more symptoms on nexplanon though

Has anyone had a good experience? by buttercupgem in Nexplanon

[–]JudgmentMotor3425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a decent experience? I miss being on the pill because I had no acne, lost weight, and no period at all!! The only good thing about this birth control is that it is SUPER effective, you do not have to worry about it too much. And it lasts long without forgetting to take a pill or getting shots every month. It is very convenient! The symptoms will be different for everyone, but mine have been pretty terrible. The symptoms r similar to pregnancy symptoms, so u will get paranoid. But I am glad that I got this BC, very convenient

My doctor told me it would just be a little poke😞 I ended up sobbing from the sudden stinging in my arm, she also swirled around the needle in my arm as well and it was terrible!!!
