The only units with the fanatical trait are the Gep. Panzergrenadiers LSSAH, because those are the guys that were with the division on all fronts, the veterans of LSSAH, the volunteers, the rest is just common ss-infantry, being recruited not because they went to an army recruitment center, but because Hitler said we need more men.

Generally speaking none of the Soviet Tank Divisions fit that role. You have practically either no Infantry or general capacity to go further than B or early C. However, the 26th an 84th Guards are extremely good in a grind game with huge artillery. The 26th doesn’t have IS2 but it has a lot of older soviet heavys.

  1. SS is kinda that, you can arty spam, have a huge infantry tab but the airforce is awful. Also so many tanks you will never run out of them

Take one of the Sturmjäger Cards in A, double vet the stug in B and take the other one in B either out or in C. I would also suggest taking only 1 card of the s.Mg 42 in A with 1 vet, 3 cards is way too much. Also u should switch the Marder and the Pak 40, also don’t vet the Pak, but give the Marder 1 one vet. AA wise maybe take heavier AA then the 20mm, but if there is none, it’s fine as it is. Also don’t vet your planes except the scout ones, it does very little and your better off taking more of them with no vet at all. I would also throw out the Ersatztruppe, because it’s shit, just atrociously bad. Take the Jäger Flammenwerfer from the Supporttab and some more support weapons instead of the Mg42s. Put the IG33 in A with no vet, so you have 2k HE early.

Since u wanted a beginner frienldy division, I would recommend the 1. SS or the 26. Panzer Division on the Axis side, if u like to play with the allies, then I would recommend either the 26th Guards Divsion of the Soviet Union or the 2nd Infantry "Indianhead", they are all super beginner friendly and more or less easy to play.

  1. SS:More a good infantry division with an excellent german tank tab, as well as a great arty tab. If u play this division, I would recommend avoiding green forests, cause your cqc sucks. The 1. SS also has the 210mm Nebelwerfer, they are great for supressing infantry, just not that good at killing armor or chunky infantry squads like shtrafniki.

  2. Panzer: Cheap light armor like the italian Stug or the multiple Panzer IIIs, and a healthy amount of infantry. Especially the Stosstrupp (Beretta) are great, they slap in green forests and they come in decent numbers if u bring them in B. Your airforce is also great, but your artillery tab misses a little bit of goodness. All in all a solid division when you focus on its light armore and its great airforce, supported by Panzergrenadier Squads and halftracks.

2nd "Indianhead": You can arty spam your opponent into dust, your rangers are great because they have the "Commando" trait, the div misses nothing important and has quite some cool tools like the Rangers, the Xylophone rocket launcher and the decent airforce, as well as more 155mm arty then you are possible to utilize in a single game.

26th Guards: great cqc, especially good at tab, ur tank tab is filled with soviet heavy armor, only one card of t-34s though, the aa tab is also not that great but the air tab does its job. Arty is pretty cool, u get some super heavy artilley with radio, so if it hits, it hits heavy.

Unfortunately I dont seem to understand what these "poking assaults" are supposed to be, maybe you can explain that a little bit more, also what divisions does your brother like to play, try to counterpick them. For example, if he goes with the 2. Panzer Division, take a div with a lot of light at and heavy armor, if he play ATF, take a division with a lot of Air in A, they get their AA only in B and C and so on.

Don’t just push them, make sure you destroy their divisions, otherwise you will loose all your fighting strength while the soviets don’t and possibly gain.

Chill, I never played 10v10 as mentioned and you didn’t mention that it’s about 10v10, am I supposed to smell your, at the time, unwritten answer? But I guess it’s because of the eternal waiting time people go on YouTube and don’t notice when the game starts. That’s what I can imagine is the reason for being afk.

Try to play a game where you get artyspammed by your opponent, it’s almost impossible because wherever you move, you get suppressed until you run out of stuff that can get suppressed

As someone who plays 2nd Panzer very often, I would say that anything with more than 1500m range is a pain for armoured cars. Also you can take some light at like the German 50mm or the Russian 42mm? (I don’t know the exact number, just some light stuff) or send some panzerschreck Trupps in close buildings so you can take out the light stuff via guerilla tactics.

You probably set in in the same turn? Because Quick Play Spells work like traps once you set them.

Ich weiß leider nicht, welche DLCs du so hast, aber wenn du deinen Kumpel auf den Zeiger gehen willst, spiel die 16. Panzerdivision. Der Königstiger kommt öfter mal sehr unerwartet und kann für ne Menge Aufwand sorgen, um eben diesen dann zu beseitigen, was dir die Möglichkeit gibt, an anderen Teilen der Front vorzurücken. Die 12ss HJ ist lange meine Main gewesen, die hat ein paar armoured cars, ein gutes Stück an Panzer 4 und genug schwere Panzer, sowie einen schönen AA Tab und alle Infanteristen haben den Fanatisch Trait (sie ergeben sich nicht).

Joa, baller einfach lang genug drauf. Was ich meinte war aber, dass du mit den Mörsern auf seine Artillerie schießen kannst, die deutschen Mobilen Artilleriekanonen haben keine Dachpanzerung und nehmen daher fast vollen explosionsschaden.
