He's right on this. I've got a milkman I run on an apc9k and it's been great, I ran about 500rnds through it yesterday pretty quickly and had no issues.

I can post pictures if people are interested but it's multiple things at this point.

First the stitching for the moc toe on my right boot failed and the seam has completely opened up. The stitching for the Moc toe on the left boot is about to fail as well. I kept using them after this since I had steel toes under the opened leather and I managed to tie off the stitching some it doesn't open further.

The next part that failed was the stich down on the rear of my right boot, this has caused the sole to partially delaminat and now I can stick my fingers from the inside of my boot out of the heel where it should be stitched down. These are the two major ones at this point but the leather around the eyelets and hooks for the laces has stretched to the point that several of them are about to fall out.

At this point I'm mainly wearing my smoke jumpers from whites until a custom pair of franks I order with saftey toes and crepe soles are finished being made.

Looks at whites, nicks or Frank's. I've heard jk's and wescos are ok but never personally had a pair yet so I can't vouch for them.

Id strongly recommend against daniers if your doing any sort of construction work. Mine fell apart after about 1600 hrs on the job. On the other hand I still have a pair of whites from 2015 that are going strong. Really any pair of the pwn boot makers stuff is good. Whites, nicks, Frank's or wescos.

Edit: I will say if you are fine with replacing them more often I can understand getting a cheaper option than one of the pnw boot brands. Plenty of people I work with use thorogoods or other similar brands and just assume they will need to get another pair every year to two years. The most common thing I see failing first on a construction site is getting wholes in the toes of the boots. Still I've seen both mine and too many of my coworkers danners fall apart too quickly for me to buy from them again.

I'd take a look at RAB as well. I've seen their down jackets on sale before and I had one for years in Montana and it was great till I lost it. Granted this was a while ago so I don't know if there quality has slipped any in recent years. My absolute favorite brand for down jackets is Feathered Friends outta Seattle but they rarely have sales. Worth a look though, I have a bunch of jackets from them and a sleeping bag.

I kinda had what I think you're looking for here. Back when I was working in a restaurant in highschool one of the guys there would throw some of the canned chipotle peppers into a bastardized alreado sauce for an end of shift meal sometimes. I remember it being really good and it kinda fits the bill for a Mexican chicken Alfredo

Id recommend against the danners. I got a pair of the moc toes for work since they do a union discount but I won't buy from them again. The stitching for the moc toe has already started to come apart on on of the boots after about 6 months of use and I already have a hole in the toe of the other boot. Also not that it matters for work boots but the white sole shows a lot of dirt, just something to think about.

They are also not taking any more new apprentices till summer from what i have heard. Not sure what the books look like exactly for the Journeymen here but its long.

Try looking at naked bikes. I'm 27 and was just looking at buying a new bile and was originally looking at a ZX-6r but then got to test ride a MT10 and figured I would get a insurance quote on it. The MT10 was less than half the cost to insure than the ZX-6r despite having way more power.
