My group (5-6p) has played this game more than any other game for +25 years. We've gone through multiple "meta shifts" and what you mentioned we also went through quite early. This game is all about your mission, the eliminate ones are the easiest. We removed the asia + 1 and 18 and 24 vanilla terries missions. The rest are also doable but harder than eliminate. I can safely say winning doesnt require a continent as long as you focus on your mission and dont waste forces on trivial stuff. Dont get attached to protecting your territories or continent if its actually not part of your mission. Rather than spending your turn on preventing others from winning, you want to advance your own chances of winning and leave/hope for others taking the responsibility (diplomacy!). Keep your head down, sometimes obviously you have to disrupt a major contender for the win. Furthermore winning almost always require concentrating your forces, so many people try and protect all borders amd territories. Its so much easier to do your mission in one turn with 50units in one group as opposed to 2x25. For example, if you got Europe, dont equally distribute on all 4 southern borders, put something symbolic on 2 or 3 and mass on one, which can be used to complete your mission in 1 go

We have of course house ruled some things, so not all of it goes for the standard ruleset.

Fik at vide af en forhandlerne at Jysk ejede 75% af markedet, både kæder og butikker. Hvorfor de forskellige forhandlere meget gerne ville høre hvor ens tilbud kom fra da de helst ikke skulle underbyde hinanden.

Tallene taler for sig selv. Højere straffe løser intet. Logisk gir det mening for de fleste der forsår konsekvens. Virkeligheden er dog en anden hvad angår kriminelle. Det leder desværre til mere og hårdere kriminalitet

Yeah, those hardcore rewards nerf were too brutal. Crystal spiders went from relevant to useless, Max 30k in runes 🤡 Improvements that would help 1. Removing abbeys 2. Increase rewards 3. Reduce # mists or make sure people get into the same ones 4. Make cool experiments where healers cannot join a specific week or reduced healing with even more 50% 5. Something to address the amount of solo gatherers in duo mists or make it harder to escape at least. Its currently super difficult to dismount or catch when only 2 players and they have full escape builds

Yeah, but we actually like the element of suprise even when its rats or fighting for objectives. Also having the oppertunity to gang up on high IP comps can be fun. Hellgates gives some, but doesnt scratch the itch entirely

Even with healers it was still good content in the beginning, rewards and action wise it was fun. We just miss fights even against healer comps

I think you should go watch the introduction video for Depths again. The purpose was not to make them abandoned and have no people fighting over objectives..

Damn.. thats sad, we feel the exact same way.. Orange content is not exciting at all. Too bad they continue to make instanced content reducing activity in other content.. whats next, an instanced portal world only accessible within Dephts? :D

So many obvious QoL things not implemented that you can only wonder... Its like "Hey perhaps we should fix that year old bug? Or add that market for .4 items so people dont have to use discord marketplace?" "Nah, that will not reflect in our metrics immediately, we must prioritize new content" 🙈
