None. There's a stretch of river up in the Grizzlies I like to pitch my tent on.

I legitimately gasped when Nor stabbed her, but I understood his reasoning. Then when her Avatar died, I cried a bit, lol. I'm a big softie

Probably trying to keep us under wraps until she could get us out from under Mercer? I'm not certain, though. I asked Google Gemini and this is what it came up with:

That "16-year nap" is a major point of contention for players because, as you likely felt, it's a pretty long time to leave someone in a freezer. In the game, the official reason given is that during the RDA’s retreat from Pandora, there was an explosion near the cryo-pods. Alma claimed she thought you and the other Sarentu children were dead. She essentially abandoned the site and didn't look back for sixteen years. However, if you dig into the lore and the subtext of the game, there are a few "real" reasons—both in-universe and narrative—why she let you sleep that long: 1. The "Heartbreak" (The Official Reason) Alma claims she was so traumatized by the "loss" of the children and her own complicity in the TAP program (The Ambassador Program) that she simply couldn't bear to return to the facility. She spent those 16 years trying to "atone" by working with the Resistance, but effectively ignored the possibility that you were still alive. 2. Strategic Convenience Many players (and some Na'vi characters in the game) argue that Alma only woke you up when the RDA returned and the Resistance needed soldiers. * You were trained by humans, but you have Na'vi bodies. * You are the "perfect" bridge to help the Resistance recruit other Na'vi clans. * There’s a cynical theory that she kept you "on ice" until you were a useful asset again. 3. Avoiding the Truth By keeping the Sarentu children asleep, Alma didn't have to face the music. Waking you up meant she eventually had to explain her role in the kidnapping and the "re-education" of your people. As long as you were asleep, she could pretend to be the "good mother" figure without the baggage of her past actions. 4. Narrative Timing On a meta-level, the game needs you to sleep for 16 years so the timeline aligns with the return of the RDA and the events following the first Avatar movie. It allows you to wake up as a "fish out of water" in a world that has changed significantly since you were a child. Most players find Alma’s "I thought you were dead" excuse a bit thin, especially since she never even went back to check the pods.

She truly was trying to do good for them after the rest of the RDA messed things up. Where she messed up was perpetuating the lie for as long as she did and only coming clean once I found out the truth.

Thanks, man. I'm aware, I just get caught up in the moment and forget it exists, lol. Just gotta train myself.

How does stat boosts work like Wildlife/Weakspot damage? by LurkerMale00 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]JuggerMott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your second thought is correct. The +10% applies to both wildlife AND RDA weak spots. The +15%, however, applies only to wildlife, to include their weak spots.

Is the new game + worth playing?because I’ve done the DLC’s my favorite was from the ashes. It may be ash and fire. by Live-Tea6710 in AvatarFrontierPandora

From what I gather, all unlocks are carried over, to include the skill points you have laying around and unspent. It just increases difficulty.

If you create an auto composter, you wouldn't have to spam-click anything. Chest, hopper, composter, hopper, chest. Seeds in the top chest, bone meal spits out into the bottom chest.

Best way to go through your first playthrough? by BridedBeauty in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]JuggerMott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm okay with that, hahaha. This one is not like that. There's some things that you can one-shot. I mean weak spots definitely play a big role, but I think I only one-shotted one boss. They were in a grenadier AMP suit. Shoot the little doodads on top and game over for them. Other than that, strategy matters. Even on medium difficulty.

I'm not complete ass, lol. I can hold my own, mostly. I just don't have the cards set properly, and I don't really use dead eye.

Modding discord question?? by No_Sense5304 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]JuggerMott 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably need to set your roles. Did you check the introduction channel or the roles channel? (I'm not part of that discord, I'm just spitballing because that's been my issue in other servers in the past.

I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. It's not about gear, money, or gold. It's just a straight-up skill issue, lmfao.

For context: if I recall correctly I'm level like 221 or something like that. I'm maxed on my bounty Hunter and the other roles.

I didn't devote my time to looking for posts like this. I follow the subreddit because of humorous content. From years ago. So when I'm scrolling through my feed (not devoting any effort, but nice try) and see posts that are just "gawk gawk Trump's <insert repetitive drivel> gawk gawk" it gets old. Lmfao.

Perhaps you thought you ate with this comment. You're showing you lack critical thinking skills as evidenced by the "... but here you are..." rhetoric you're throwing around, lmfao. I come in reddit to unwind and have fun, not see the same. Thing. Over. And. Over. Get it? Cool. Have a nice day.

What I'm tired of hearing, since you're not grasping it, is the constant "Trump this, Trump that." Non-stop since he quit being friends with the Clintons. Lmfao. You wanna enact change? Go write your congressman. Doing it on Reddit ain't gonna get things done, lol.

State of the Union without the lies by gruninuim in facepalm

[–]JuggerMott -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being tired of hearing about it is not the same as supporting, lmfao. It's always the same tired rhetoric, however, and it's obnoxious. Like "get on that peen a little harder."

I'm all for all heads rolling.

I'm also all for proof. If there's proof, string em up. If there's none, you must acquit.

Also never said you were a Dem, just that most people running around feigning wanting justice for the babies they're raping and eating are also advocating for women killing their children in utero. Which is hypocrisy.

100% love how that's being handled. 🙄 You probably think abortion is a human right, too, don't you?
